This is just me, and I go against the `common opinion` often, but I just don`t like this whole `who can be the most violent` war. Ok, chain paintball gun. Where`s the field competition with that? It just makes you look more badass (in the eyes of the common public)..

*shrug* I don`t like this violence, guns, blood, gore fad the world is on. Can`t say I`m highly impressed. Pointless and useless (no one is going to want to even compete against you!) and just a markup of a real chain gun. Wouldn`t be that hard with any level of mechanical skills..

Sorry, I know someone is going to be all OMG STUPID to this because I stated my opinion, but that`s what my opinion is.

On a pointless toy level for zero advancement in anything relevant, ok, it`s cool. Have fun waisting the paintballs. ^.^ Just make a better video or something. Like the mentos-coke guys.

If you don`t like violence, blood and gore, why do you click a link that says "paintball chain gun" and "BFG"?

I think it`s quite impressive and I wish he made a video of actually shooting paintballs.

If he actually makes a video and entertains with it, sure. And I clicked the link because it`s a perfect opportunity to make a point. I thought it`d be better than that, too.

At least I`m not the only one to want more entertainment out of it.

And BFG.. stands for something else in my book. Going to bed, now!

I was thinking that too. That`s the only reason I clicked on it- I thought it was going to include the BFG and a paintball gun...

Very Cool. But I dont think it could work unless he froze the paintballs before using them. Paintballs are made to only be able to travel at a velocity of 320fps (that I know of) and 1200fps way exceeds that, they would just burst in the barrell.

God help whoever he shoots with frozen paintballs.

A former classmate of mine built one of those as an engineering practical exam eight or nine years ago. The professor passed him with two conditions: 1) that he NEVER use it in public, and 2) that he (the prof) could borrow it sometime.

It was just a lab project is all. People like to have fun building stuff, so he had fun making a BFPBG.
It`s not like he wants to wreak terrorism or anything.

"Paintballs are made to only be able to travel at a velocity of 320fps (that I know of) and 1200fps way exceeds that, they would just burst in the barrell."

1200 psi= 1200 pounds per square foot (measure of pressure)
320 fps= 320 ft per second (measure of speed)

But they would probably burst anyway.

"I don`t like this violence, guns, blood, gore fad the world is on."
Not to sound jerky, but you do realize it was a PAINTBALL gun and not a real "killing" gun, right?

It`s just talking about gore, blood and stuff in response to a paintball gun video struck me kinda odd.

How`s that ironic? BFG stemmed from a weapon in Doom (The BFG 9000), showed up in a few other games, was referred to on I-Am-Bored, and then was parodied in the name of a real gun. Where`s the irony in that?
