92%...pretty good, but since when does gingle bells have the line "A day or two ago, the story I must tell I went out on the snow, and on my back I fell; A gent was riding by, in a one-horse open sleigh He laughed as there I sprawling lay but quickly drove away..." ? I`ve never heard that one.

and even though he says "Nowell", he even says its on purpose. but hes still wrong:
In the original, Noel, the French word for Christmas, or Christmas-carol, is corrupted to "Nowell."

I got 56% (and called Ebeneezer... No, I can`t spell that!), but then I guessed most of them. I only knew a couple because:

a) I`ve been doing Christmas carol quizzes in college all week, but it was only for the titles;

and b) the actual released songs such as Let It Snow are forced on me every year.

Heh heh, I guessed the Jingle Bells one correctly! I knew I`d heard that verse before though... Thanks Manicstovie for the reaffirmation of my correct-ness! :D

"A day or two ago, the story I must tell I went out on the snow, and on my back I fell; A gent was riding by, in a one-horse open sleigh He laughed as there I sprawling lay but quickly drove away"
He must have been pissed. He cant even remember if it was yesterday or the day before! Where do these lyrics come from? I`ve only ever heard the `dashing through the snow..." verse before.

"14. Hear the snow crunch, see the kids bunch. “Silver Bells” describes pre-holiday excitement and refers to Santa’s big---" Is that entirely appropriate?

I only genuinely knew 23 and 24, and thats only through having watched Home Alone about 4 million times! %40

the sad thing is that they said "the first nowell" instead of "the first NOEL".
i thought that fact was pretty entertaining.
more so than this quiz anyway.

It never actually occured to me that Christmas music has a story in it. Did you know that Jingle Bells was actually about something? Amazing.
