i got an error...can someone help me????
People, do your research! Color photography has been around since 1861 and was developed for the market in 1907. Or do most of you people just like making stuff up as you go along?
how more advanced do you want it to be? explain?...?
its history, its not like its promoting nazi`s...you my friend need a swift beating. It amazes me how mentally retaded people can be.
heres the explanation and dont be such idiots it makes my head hurt.
And I thought that was amazing--I had no idea color photography was that old.
And AVDPhoenix, search the internet for pictures for fourteen seconds and you will find more disgusting pictures than those.
No, Autochrome(the first color film) came about in 1907. Kodachrome was better quality, it came in the 30`s. But I`d say its definitely possible that they came up with techniques to take color pictures back then.
I know the one where he takes 3 black and white pictures through filters has been done before.
That`s a pretty interesting link.
That`s pretty much exactly what I said, isn`t it?
You didn`t read the captions before? You just jumped to conclusions? No wonder we learned to read...
And I just actually read the captions. It turns out these are actually color pictures from their respective time periods. That changes this from mediocre to pretty interesting. I wondered why they looked like actual color photo`s, guess I should have read the captions before I went and assumed they were colored black and whites.
Btw, they arent fake. This photographic process is well documented. Some may be touched up, of course. I know that the ones from the russian photographer are touched up to remove scratches and such, and correct color.
....the whole point is that they ARE photoshopped. They were black and white, now they`re in color.
And I don`t know if it`s because these all looked a little too good to be true, or if it`s because I`ve known about color being put into black and whites for at least 4 years, but none of these really `wowed` me.
The last one is from Saving Private Ryan!
No really, this was pretty neat.
