Many problems...
1> Brakedust... how do you clean them
2. no ventilation to the brake rotors, so they will get very hot, very quickly
3. Then the poly carbonate will melt, deform crack, or lose structural integrity.
4. They will scuff up within the first week, and look like a thousand bucks of crap.

they just are not practical, if youve got a car like that sooner or later your going to want to thrash it, and then your rims are going to heat up....

Stupid. Brake dust would be real fun to deal with, along with the joy of running over pot-holes and the occasional tapped-kerb. Plus, drastic changes in temperature would most likely shrink/expand the poly-carbonate until it wrinkles.

Saying that, this is all for show, which IMHO, looks stupid, unless you`re looking to sport drilled/slotted brembo`s.

Yeah, you guys are right, this has nothing to do with starving kids, and I apologize for annoying everyone :). I just felt the need to say something because legion5 was being a jerk. >_>

First of all they are 2000 a piece, the 250,000 ones are jewel encrusted and are made by asanti. and by the way i hate it how people are " give the money to starving kids in Africa" when some one has a million to spend on rims they are prob giving money to charity to avoid some taxes and also sometimes people need to spoil themselves. if you wanna give it to starving kids raise a mill and then we`ll see who wants to give it away.

Why $250,000 for one?

It`s just a piece of some variant of glass for Chrissakes.

It takes seconds for a person to spend $1million on these rims. It would take years for that same person to spend $1million on dog food.

"The article said something about Asanti rims at 250k a pop? Anyone who buys those just need to be removed from the gene pool. How could you not feel guilty spending a million dollars on RIMS when people are starving all over the world?"

Doubtfull it`s more likley that you need to be removed from the gene pool (which I doubt you even know what a gene is), if we took all the dogfood from Europe bought every year, and transported it mostly to africa and the far east, we could end world hunger. Poverty is a choice, and it`s probably uninformed people like yourself who contribute to it, on a larger scale, by your complete stupidity.. :)

poverty is sometimes, but not usually a choice u moron. i say their is absolutely no way to ever end it, but if u don`t even try to lessen it ur either A a moron, or ur currently doing something else that is important.

or ur in poverty.

ur a moron

also, these are wastes of money...

How long before the lawsuits come from the families of bikers that died from hitting a bump to hard and cracking the rim and crashing?

I thought they were cool. Why does every one argue abou random stuff. The rims have nothing to do wit Starving people.I dont mind it though i like arguing.lol. p.s If u want to complain. do something about it,sell ur computer and give the money to starving people.then people dont have to hear u complain about random things.Thanx

Poverty isn`t a choice if you`re a three-year-old in Africa dying of starvation because you live in a slum and your parents are dying of aids.

I`d laugh if I ever saw one of those on the street... Metal seems sturdier though... I`d be too afraid that those plastic ones would crack in the winter.
