Urdane: He is saying that your nipples will bleed from chaffing. He mentioned earlier that chaffing will happen no matter how soft your shorts or shirt is. And since nipples are extraordinarily sensitive, I imagine that if chaffed enough, they will bleed.

When my doctor asks me if I`ve been exercising, I`ll tell him no...and cite these reasons as to why. If I get fat, it`s your fault!

Its really not that bad as the article says. The whole part about people talking to you and telling you stories you could care less about is true though. If more people took up running america wouldnt be so fat and we would be much healtier and happier.

Okay, most of those points were related to chafing. Buy a big pot of vaseline, end of problem.

Heres a fun fact for everyone...

If you take a Marathon runner and take him to have a medical check up, the doctor will come back and tell you that the runner has had MULTIPLE heart attacks in a short period of time, just from the amount of scar tissue they generate during the race.

But there`s also a good reason:
    1) Lose Weight
    2) It`s for a reason (most of them, anyway)?

you don`t have to run a marathon to be in shape. A 3 mile run twice a week would definately take off some weight.

Where`d you hear that from, Invalok? It`s very interesting, but against everything I`ve learned about exercise and running. I`ve always heard that running was good for your heart, as long as you don`t overdo it.

What about the 100 reasons TO run a marathon? I personally have run one, and I am probaby the last person to expect to run a marathon! To me it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, with the rewards outweighting the drawbacks!
