As I kept going throught the list I kept thinking that the one I thought of would be there and then it wasn`t even in the bubble list. How could thye not include the song and ending to "Cruel Intentions" That song and timing with the ending was perfect.

Lots of spoilers, don`t click on a movie if you haven`t seen it, ESPECIALLY Fight Club.

i do agree with most of the list, but i was sad to not see a mention of moulin rouge. i dont care how girly you thought the movie, you can not deny that the elephant love song theme was not the greatest montague/mash of new songs, tied together and sang with such perfection.

i also agree that johnny b goode shouldve made the list. and if you want to get into classical music sync ups, you should mention bethoveen`s 5th in a clockwork orange.

Decent but definitely arguable.... it`s impossible create a list that everyone is going to completely agree with, everyone has their own opinion.

No, Redzepplin, "In Your Eyes" definitely deserves the number two spot. When I think of the best music scene in a movie this is always the first one to pop into my head.

The top ten for the most part was pretty dead on, I thought the rest of the list was lacking.

I was thinking more along the lines of "music" not "songs" with full lyrics...oh well.

My personal vote would have been for "Binary Sunset" by the amazing John Williams (aka Lukes Theme) from Star Wars in the dual sunset scene.

im surprised they didnt include the final montage from requiem for a dream ...... or even from back to the future when michael j fox played johnny b goode at his parents prom, those right there were classics in its time

In the Bohemian Rhapsody scene I didn`t know Garth didn`t know the words. I just thought Garth was a weird guy. Interesting, I didn`t even know this.

The Bohemian Rhapsody scene is a classic (and so funny :) )

As a huge fan of the Pixies, i would like to see the end scene of Fight Club at a higher place...

And if you listen to all the music in Trainspotting, you will find out the the film also gives a bit of history of music...

i was going to mentio the blue danube from 2001 myself...but looking at the other movies and songs that were listed, i think they are going for a more modern, popular feel. Not classical music or film from the late 60`s.

Ok i completely agree with #1 BUT #14("Misirlou"-Pulp Fiction) should be in the place of #2.
The guitarwork in that song is amazing.

I made a list like this myself once. The only major ones I would add are Wake Up at the end of the Matrix and almost anything from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
