That would be pretty cool to have hanging on your bedroom wall. Anytime you feel like making a little animation... Well there ya go.

pretty good, i do wishj i had one, but then again, i would just play with it for 37 hours straight, then never again. (i want to set the gravity to up!)

Smagboy1: "What concerns me is the default and variable values. How much did his cart weigh (its mass)? Or the marbles? What was the spring tension on the springs? What did the cup weigh that the springs were holding (its mass)? Was friction accounted for? If so, what was the frictional coefficient of the various parts? And, finally, can we change all of the above values, including the force of gravity in order to, say, simulate conditions on the moon, or simulate different materials, etc.?"

stfu smagboy1 u just made it go from ultra cool toy thingo to lame nerd geek gadget

Rich5678 - they did, it was called The Incredible Machine and it was fantastic.

As for the programme.. that is really cool. We have smartboards at college, but nothing like that. I want one damnit!

we still use chalk boards =D
the best our school has, is 586`s that lag when u play quake 3 on them.

it sure feels great to be 10 years behind the rest of the world (for those that dont understand, that was sarcasm)

"meh. Draw some porn dude."

"I would so draw my friends being hung by their testículos and add springs so they would jiggle."

How retarded do you have to be to have the gall bastardize a program like this for your own sick games? Grow up. There`s more to life than porn, and it`s not funny when you inject the subject into every conversation.

we have those in all the classrooms at my school but so far none of the teachers have been smart enough to figure out how to do that kind of stuff

Pretty cool concept. My school has a few of those smart boards. my question is how does the computer determine the density of the marbles, or which way the box connected to springs moves before anything hits? i suppose the teacher could type that stuff in. eitherway, pretty cool

at the school i went to in 10th grade, we had a smartboard in my physics class....of course, my teacher was frickin rich, and i think he paid for it himself, but yeah....

This program really reminds me of The Incredible Machine.....where you play with the different objects to reach the goal....really cool

I would love to play with this program....It`s too bad i won`t be in school when smartboards are as common as chalkboards and dry erase boards.....but i think it`s worth it....I don`t wanna be in school that long. lol. I`m so glad I`m graduating this year.

lol. that kinda got off subject, but yeah.

the smartboard thing is still really awsome. :D

The best thing we ever had in school was an lcd panel that you connected to a graphing calculator and then placed on a projector so the whole class could see what the instructor was doing. Crap compared to that.

Awesome, but it messes up when he`s drawing the second plank - you clearly see him illustrating a rectangular shape, and as seen as he completes the last line (width, so no mistaking the intended shape) the computer switches it to an obtuse triangle. Notice how he says nothing... his silence speaks volumes.

I wouldn`t be surprised if you can adjust all the varibles. Most likely the professor was showing simplified examples for the purposes of demonstration.

Awesome vid by the way. I actually watched the whole thing without being bored. Lol.

I feel so poor... Everyone`s saying how they`ve had these for years. The fanciest thing my school has board-wise is this spinny-chalkboard thingy-mahoosit. XD We`re too busy paying for all our programs that barely anyone`s in.

Yeah, we have those smart boards too. I can`t stand physics but that was just really cool. I wish we had one of those boards in my physics classroom instead of the stupid smart board.
My school is only a few years old so it`s got all the high tech stuff. Why didn`t they invest in a sweet physics ness board!

"...quoting SmagBoy1 above..."

I would imagine all the variables you stated would be variable. I can`t imagine someone would go to all that trouble to create such a program without being able to specify all needed parameters. I would love to get a copy of that program...

That would never work. My old physics teachers would spend all their time playing with it and no classes would ever be made. Then they would have to fight me and all the other geeks at school who wanted to try it too.
