Jesus, that would have taken what, 3, 4 times to get right? But oh once it went right woulda been soo satisfying.

I want to mod out a couple of old hard drives and make a 4WD remote control car... that would be sick, especially once it got up to speed.

I run my XP all the time, editing videos/pictures, playing games, and just generally actively attempting to burn out my components. Had a hard disk fail but not OS. My brother keeps his PC running 24/7, quite literally. So long as you keep your PC clean (true of pretty much anything) both physically and data wise, it should continue to run untill either you break a component or are no longer satisfied with your current speed. Everyone one wiches they had at least a slightly better rig.

you idiots that was a hard drive, hard drives have platters that look like cds, what they did in this was open the drive up and turned it on so the platters would spin then he gave it a little push so the platters came off the spindle and went flying!

oh, btw, Widows 2000 is the most stable version of the windows OSes

computer abuse? Haha please! We used to do stuff like that all the time in my IT shop. We used to take old pcs out to the dumpster and smash them up office space style.

that is not how you do it. obviously, you just climb the stairs in an apartment to the roof, then drop the hard drive off the edge of the roof. then, go back down and see who hit their head on your hard drive and what damage that person did to it.

Mac os x`s rock-solid UNIX foundation gives you the most innovative, stable and compatible desktop operating system on the planet. As stated at http://www.apple.com/macosx/tiger/

ummmmm... mikepiano, before i changed to mac os x, i used to have windblows xp. I like got 20 blue screens a day. also, blue screens have nothing to do with stability... as for being the most stable os ever... yeah right!!!!!! lol....
