Question #1 and #2 belong in a world, world A, where I exist, and where I can put an elephant or giraffe into a fridge. Question #3 belongs in a world, world B, where a “Lion King” exist but where I cannot also exist, therefore world A and world B are mutually exclusive and thus #1-2 are mutually exclusive from #3. Saying that, the elephant in world A is not, and cannot be, the same elephant as in world B, and thus the answer given for question #3 is incorrect by lack of information. Following that logic, question #4 is also incorrect, among other poor assumptions.

Also, if I can assume I have a fridge that holds an elephant or a giraffe, why can’t I assume it will fit both at the same time? Hey, let’s put some alligators in there too! =)

""You Can`t Even Fit A Giraffe In A Refridgerator, Let ALone An Elephant So There.""

Well. It could just be a very big refridgerator. Or a very small giraffe/elephant.

    2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

If you said: Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant and close the door, you`re wrong you idiot!

Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door.

This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your actions.

ERRRR... NO IT DOESN`T!!! For a start it doesn`t say the same refrigerator, and how would either an elephant or giraffe fit in on their own? And it doesn`t say the questions follow on from each other at the start. That was S.HITE >-(>-(>-(

older folk get this test wrong because its in a differant format than most tests. Academic tests today are taken as if one question were a part of its own story, and the next question starts over. This test relies on the last question without warning. First question should be wrong for you because you wont logically be able to put a giraffe in the fridge.

If you got all these wrong, you`re experianced and logical. If you get all these right, you`re pretty much just the opposite.

Why would you want to put a giraffe and elephant in the fridge in the first place. And can`t you have both giraffe and elephant in the fridge at the same time? And can`t the fridge be at the meeting with the elephant inside it? Might sound stupid but these questions are pretty stupid themselves.

OThe reason that 4 years olds get all these questions is that they don`t think the same way we do. Seems obvious, but also we would think that an elephant would be able to get out of a fridge to attend his meeting, wouldn`t we? And who says the elephant and the giraffe can`t share a freezer or have there own seperate ones? Methinks if you don`t get them right, then you think more clearly and realistically, otherwise you`re just off in fantasy-land.

Oh and for the last question, although I`d heard this all before, it missed out the detail of stating that the bridge was broken...so I said I used a bridge. That way I`m dry and across and everyone else is wet, muahaha I beat the test!

I didn`t get any of them. The first two I was either like "fold it into quarters" (if you can fit the f*cking elephant into the damn refrigerator whole, you can fold him) or cut them into pieces like October God said. They never said it had to be alive.

1 How do you fit a giraffe into a refrigerator with dimensions greater than those of a giraffe?
2 How do you then fit an elephant into the same refrigerator, given that the `fridge is not suitably capacious to accommodate both an elephant and a giraffe at the same time?
3 The Lion King is hosting an (completely imagined and realistically unfeasible) animal conference. The conference takes place at such a time that the elephant is unable to attend due to his(or her) cruel imprisonment by a `professional` in a cramped box controlled to afflict unsuitably harsh temperatures on an animal used to the warm climes of the african savannah/indian jungle. All the animals attend except one. Which animal does not attend?
4 There is a river you can cross. It is normally inhabited by crocodiles, but they are all (unrealistically) away on a business trip. How would you cross the river, if the bridge were broken, but you had the ability to reach the other side through the technique of swimmin

I can get `em all because I`m pretty sure I heard this in a school science class wayyyy back in the 6th or 7th grade and I`ve even seen them them again on the internet not to long ago. =)

Yeah, in my experience it`s mostly good for interesting conversation in a joke/riddle style with family or friends, not to take seriously.. A lot of the questions do seem unfair to anyone but the most abstract thinkers.

BTW, I like the wording of the first two of your anti-whine ones, smort. Too bad the last two give away the answers though instead of just saying that they are `assumed to have occured shortly after in regard to time and possess relevance to the events outlined in the proceedng questions`. =P

"According to Andersen Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong. But many preschoolers got several correct answers. Anderson Consulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that most professionals have the brains of a four year old."

I got em all wrong! Num. 4 doesn`t say that these crocodiles got a invite to the conference! Besides how would you know if this "river" was if fact close enough to the meeting or whatever that the alligators would not just skip it and royally piss off the Lion King or whatever! (God I use whatever way too much!) And this elephant...? Does it count if you severely mutilate it before you put it in the fridge? I get number 3 tho. I mean, the elephants gotta be dead before the word gets to him that a conference is going on! Haha....I can just picture some dude opening the refridgerator and seeing the rotting elephant with flys eating its brains.....LOL
