I always say I`m a perfectionist when they ask for your worst trait. but I`ve decided I`m sick of that, so next time I have a job interview I will tell them that my worst trait is how outspoken I am, and then I`d prove that by telling them how retarded that question is because nobody will ever answer it honestly.

if you`re going to sit down and study these questions so you`re prepared, you`re wasting your time. Your answers have to come naturally, off the top of your head. Thinking about what this website said to talk about while you`re sitting there under the bright lights isn`t going to turn out so well

For the weakness question I always answer with something that`s somewhat positive: I tend to become too engrossed in tasks, or I`m a bit of a perfectionist. And group interviews are odd, too. I was being interviewed by 9 or 10 people at once.

2.) If you flip a coin three times, what is the probability that all three will come up heads?

3.) If you have a deck of cards, what is the probability that the first three cards you pick are all kings?

Not terribly difficult, but they can catch you off guard when you`re already nervous for your interview.

Hardest interview questions I`ve ever been asked:

1.) You have a property worth 100 million dollars financed by 50% equity and 50% debt. If the interest on the debt is 6% and the yield on the property is 10%, what is the return on equity?

Anyone else on here been in a group interview, with you and about 4-6 other individuals from various management positions in the company questioning you with every intent on preventing you from working there?

And don`t make mistakes like this in your CV:

Nothing new to me, but good to remember just in case one wanders off during interviews.

and 7451 made good points... although even if you say the right things you still might not get the job.

I tell them I can`t walk on water...but I have performed minor miracles on shoestring budgets. It is usually good for a larf & shows you think on your feet.

I hate the "Tell me about a time you had to lead a group" question, it always gets me.

It was boring, yes. It also missed out "where do you see yourself in 10 years?"

It`s all just business jargon, telling people what they want to hear, bending the truth etc. I don`t want a guide to tell me what to say in an interview. Somebody shouldn`t pick you for an interview because you said the right things, if you do say the right things it means the job is right for you.
