ya the somke looked like a skull in a certain angle. there was an article about that before. This was one of the most detailed hiquality video I saw so far. I never saw the building blocks fall down only smoke but this video shows it a lot clearer.

This makes me sad even though it been 5 years. Can`t believe it been 5 years already.

Yes I agree it`s a very sad moment in US history, many people died and I wish them all to RIP. But it`s been 5 years and it was one bad thing that happen to the US, I`m not being heartless here, just pointing to reality. Look all around you, look towards other country, other then your own, look at the horrors in Africa, in the middle east, in 5 years, thousands maybe millions have died from civil war, various diseases, very bad living conditions. That is the real horror of the world, instead of being down and sad, help others around the world, people that need our help much more then here.

Just wanted to add that I know how you feel, I was very connected to the Montreal Dawson Shooting that happen two days ago, had a few friends there and one of them got shot in the leg, it`s a very scary and saddening thought, I`m still in shock since it happened 2 days ago. I understand that your still sad, but I ask you please to not only look within your own country, broaden your horizon, there are many more people that need your help.

Not to sound callous in return metal but are you truly comparing the few people injured and killed in the Dawson shooting to the thousands of people killed at the WTC`s?
The Americans have every right to mourn, this was a close tear jerker for me over here in Alberta. We Canadians may be considered the peace keepers but no country in the world offers more aid outside their country than America. (Look it up)
Its the 5th anniversary, let them mourn and have the heart to mourn with them. The recent Dawson shooting was bad but don`t be so ignorant as to compare it to the WTC and think anyone should care in that light.

*sigh* See I knew some people would not get my message at all. And Yes it`s a comparison, because yes I almost lost love ones, it`s not a competition here. What I mean, is YES they are allowed to mourn, but once they`ll stop morning, what will they do? Most will go back to their lives and completely ignore the planet outside their boundry. I feel that reminding people that people in other countries live what their living the 9/11 EVERY SINGLE DAY. Just give it a thought, feel how you`re hurting and imagine that constantly, always a throbbing pain that is reminded to you every day, some are under constant threat of being bombed, some live with people dying around them all the time. So in this time of sadness think about how some around the world live what your living all day long all year long, every year.

Sorry I can`t let this rest. Furthermore this is a posting on the WTC`s so what else do you expect besides comments on it. If this was a posting on the tsunami that wiped out those islands or hurricane katrina or even the hollocaust, there would be comments about that and how disturbing those events were. Don`t waste everones time by going to a site where the video shows a truly horrific event in history and then say stop complaining.

I`d liek to reply on the discussion between Metal Dragon and RPossum...

RPossum, you say, are you seriuosly comparing 9/11 to those few people who died in the Dawnson shooting? But now you are doing just the same as Metal Dragon, who is comparing all horrors in the world to the "few" (and I qoute it because it still is a lot of people) that died on 9/11

So you both agree on the fact that when a lot of people die, that is bad, which it is ofcourse. So why are you arguing? I must agree with Metral Dragon a bit though. There are still so many people dying everyday....Lets do something about that!

But, Metal Dragon, you could have put it a bit differntly, that might have helped, and You RPossum, could have read his message properly and see that he actually meant no harm with it!

I also agree that there are many severe problems in todays world, I just don`t think this is the forum or that its the right message for someone to jump in and say "it`s been 5 years and it was one bad thing that happen to the US,". This has a serious `get over it` feel.
I agree you didn`t say `stop complaining`, I adlibed perhaps too strongly there, but I certainly feel you are saying `get over it and deal with todays problems`.
All this is, is a moment where people can go and revisit the anniversary of a tragedy. Who cares if its been 5 years or 50 years? Telling an entire nation to get over it is exactly what you said it was, callous.
I don`t think it would be any better to tell even one parent of the Dawson shooting or any tragedy to `get over it` in 5 years on the anniversary of their childs murder.
It is a good thing to remember those who were lost, I for one hope to never forget.

I think this is the best video of 9/11 I have ever seen... let me rephrase... the best QUALITY video...

It was so scary to watch, knowing what was going to happen (second plane, collaspes, etc) and I was still scared. This video captured 2 falling bodies... can you imagine having so little time to choose your death? Buring to death, suffocating to death, or jumping to your death....

    RIP 9/11 victims

Don`t try to compare by numbers. That`s not the point. If it`s just about numbers, we could euthanize everyone who has the cancer genes. That would save many more lives in the future. Meanwhile we could put everyone carrying the HIV virus on an island, and nuke it. A relative few losses to prevent a potentially infinite number of deaths in the future.

I have a feeling that the bird flu (or one of these other recent diseases) is going to do that for us pretty soon anyway. I predict another "black plague" in our not-too distant future (next 50 years or so?). About 70-80% of the entire world`s population gone in a few months, and only the very healthy with strong immune systems will survive to clean up and rebuild. This "Second Rennaissance" will be good for the human race as a whole.

I don`t think it`s particularly tragic in a historical sense. Not to get into some ambitious political debate, but the US didn`t anticipate such an attack and this weakness was exploited. It`s happened all-throughout history and will continue to as previous generations die off and the wisdom is lost.

Now what`s especially tragic is how this incident and its many involved deaths was used by the country`s own fear-mongering government to jump-start a political baby project and go to war with Iraq.

That`s all I`ll say about it out of respect for others. Please don`t bother arguing with me over this opinion because it would lead nowhere. If you must, use private messages.

I dont think the government was behind it, and I dont want to think the government was behind it, but having seen the video, it seems kind of strange how the plane crashed, and the building burned for 10 minutes, and then the building suddenly collapsed? zzzchuby, don`t be naïve. Most European countries are intimately acquainted with the impact of national disasters. They`ve been attacked, invaded, conquered, destroyed, and rebuilt several times over. 9/11 was nowhere near as intense as a full-fledged invasion, and given America`s geopolitical location - isolated by two vast oceans and bordered with two friendly nations - invasion is highly unlikely, ever.

Overman said: "invasion is highly unlikely, ever."

True. And it has as much to do with the citizens as it does our military. Especially if they tried to land anywhere along the gulf coast. "Welcome to Texas. Let`s dance." *as you hear the sound of a several hundred thousand pistol, shotgun and assault rifle rounds being chambered*. Can you say "Instant Militia"?

Many places in both Europe, and the rest of the world, are intimately acquainted with similar events to 9/11. Putting aside the recent Madrid and London bombings, the UK has been under the pressure of terrorist activities for many years, and only in the past decade or so has the IRA stopped bombing both Great Britain, and Northern Ireland. Also, there are many here who still remember, and indeed lived through the horrors of WW2, on both sides.

I think that most Americans feel so acutely shocked at this because they thought that they were safe, where as many people in the rest of the world have lived through similar events more recently, and so are more hardened to these situations. This does not mean, though, that we do not feel your shock and horror. We are just a bit more reserved about expressing ourselves.

Events such as these are always terrible and tragic, no matter what the scale. Any loss of life through such acts is appalling.

Yeah, religious extremists. Sadly, history repeats itself. All we can do is try to stand against intolerance.

I remember what happened that day five years ago. I had a fight with my mom before school. She was going on a business trip somewhere in to New Orleans that day. I didn`t know what time, all I knew was that she was departing from Logan Airport. Well, we heard about what happened at school. I never ran home faster in my life. Thank God her flight was at 3 pm. Sadly, we knew some people who died.

zzzchuby, it`s that sort of Ameri-centric attitude that has us in the situation we`re in today and put us in the situation that caused this attack. Are you really so dense? Ignorance of the world by someone with an internet connection is just plain sad. Do you have any idea how many Iraqi civilians have died in the last three years? Hell, in the last three months?! How many Spaniards were killed in Madrid? How many Pakistani in last year`s quake? You`re the ignorant one here, not the Aussies or the Europeans or the Canadians.

You also should be ashamed. As much as i disagree and dislike president bush and pretty much our entire government, I even know that it was certainly not done by the governmment. Thhat is a completely ridiculous accusation that some use to carry on their dislike of the president. I mean really the whole Loose Change thing is just terrible. 9/11 was real. theres no secret about it. It happened, i know people who died, i know a firefighter who was there. It was not a planned demolition and there is plenty of proof.
and lastly, watching this video took my breath away and tied my stomach in a knot. so sad to see the actual footage... I`ll certainly never forget.

Sad that this took 5 years to be released.

As for those of you arguing, calling each other ignorant, comparing this to shootings, the holocaust, etc. Remember this "Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olymipcs, even if you win you are still retarded."

This IS NOT about opinions, but it IS about morning the lives lost on that day, which IS significant to American`s and their history. That doesn`t mean that there aren`t other horrors in the world, bigger or smaller, or that they don`t deserve attention.

This is not about politics, democrats, republicans, or even for that matter other countries, or their opinions. This is about what happened to our citizens, on our soil. And our ability to not let them be forgotten. I never will.

whatup09-my condolences. I will never know how you feel, but my heart goes out to you and your family.

I am aware somebody has previously dismissed this film but I recommend you watch this if you have some spare time and are even remotely interested. Just so you know a bit about me, I am British, currently studying Computer Science - without coming across as arrogant, I would consider myself an intelligent individual (most of the time!). Also, personally I absolutely cannot stand the thoughtless Greenday-inspired Bush-hater generation of today, and do not really take an interest in politics either. However, upon watching this film, my understanding of the event was turned completely upside down. As the author of this piece suggests - do your own research - there`s mountains of evidence (yes, including facts!) out there. I`m certainly not saying `this is 100% what happened and if you think otherwise you`re an idiot`, just make up your own mind, I have.

    P.S. old Greenday rule.

I didn`t realize the video was so high-quality (no graininess etc). Actually makes it more horrible to watch. :-<

Teen morons aside, those of you who buy the government`s line, are just plain traitors, most especially to your fellow citizens who died that day. Justice for them lies in pursuing the TRUTH about who/what killed them, not just blindly following along like a damn sheep while Bush and his cohorts lead the entire american citizenry around by the nose. The government does have complicity in what happened that day. That much has become very clear to anyone with a few working grey cells. The only question now is how much.

For those brainless few who still blindly refuse to believe that the US govt was involved, watch the video again, you idiotic traiterous a-holes, and have the courage to come to terms with the fact that the people you`re watching die, deserved better from gutless people like you. They deserve the damn truth to come out.

How is it possible that the US government was able to orchestrate such an event? Do you mean to tell me that all the people in the government chose not to tell anybody that they were going to purposely destroy the World trade center? Not one person involved even had a shred of a conscience?

The fact that the person who made Loose Change is still even alive is proof enough the government couldn`t secretly make this happen. If the government can blow up the World Trade Center, surely they can stop some college kid from making a video showing the so called "truth."

Preventing this film from getting out or even taking out this `college kid` is the last thing they would do. All it would achieve is to provide direct evidence against them. "911 Conspiricy theorist killed" - think how much awareness/suspicion would that would cause.

At the end of the day I ain`t saying I`m right, just keep your mind open and don`t be a sheep.

Okay, I come from a long line of conspiracy theory enthusiasts and therefore tend to avoid them, but I will lend some credit to the LooseChange video. I do not believe that the attack was staged as that film states, but I strongly believe that our government ALLOWED the attacks to happen. Think about it: Bush`s election was mired in controversy and because of that, every policy his office attempted to put in effect was equally questioned. What better way to "reunite" a polarized country than to allow the attacks of 9/11 to happen...make sure no one can get a hold of the president, keep the military out of action by miring them in bureaucracy, etc. Then get a few photo ops of our heroic president standing atop the rubble, offering words of comfort. People who are deeply hurt and terrified will instantly open their hearts to a leader they might otherwise have shunned. Then, any post-9/11 policies that carry a branding of "making us safer" or being "tough on

nice quality footage! must have been a sweet camera that can zoom in like that, I was a bit put off by all the footage they left in of the towers just burning... was getting a bit stale. Collapse was always interesting to see. I spend some time a few years ago just thinking why the buildings collapsed (technical details).

This post was a welcome reminder, I dont think any of us will forget that day of calculated destruction.

It is sad that so many died, but personally I classified this as "an act of war", then US invaded middle east, etc. etc. punch for a punch.

If anyone is truly unbiased and open minded they will understand that ^^

As for those conspiracy theories, they are all well and good, but whats the point? even if their right what are you going to do about it? how will your life change?

Ceaseless *morning* is unhealthy. I agree the people lost on that day should be remembered, though the time for *morning* them has long since passed.

Seriously, you seem to be contradicting yourself. You say first that this (whatever `this` refers to, you didn`t bother mentioning) is about mourning and then you say it`s about not letting them be forgotten. Those are two separate things. And as far as me correcting you on something you never said, you have *definitively* said it was about mourning, and all I said was it shouldn`t be, not after this long a period.

Take the stick out of your ass before replying, please. It`s most appreciated.

You know absolutely nothing and have way too much faith in our corrupt government. Do you actually think that we couldnt find bin laden if we wanted to?? Do you actually think that a sane nation would invade a completely different country and organization than the ones who attacked us. Can you honestly say that one of the most technologically advanced organizations, NORAD, couldn`t have stopped this long before it happened. They just sat on their asses and let it happen. 1 month before FBI started getting info about an attack waiting to happen

9/11 YOu know the deal Bush sat for a few minutes after he heard it.

We invaded Afganistan and beat the crap outta The Taliban and Osama heads for the hills

Then we stop and invade Iraq over the so called WMD

We find no WMD and capture Saddam Hussien who had nothing to do with 9/11

reb0rn4never, I have seen the Loose Change video and feel that it makes a very convincing, one-sided argument. Some things it stated seemed far-fetched (the light poles being torn straight out rather than bent makes complete sense given the sheer size and speed at which the plane was moving ; the author of the video misread the neoconservative memo) and others more plausible, but its purpose is only to show one side of the story and it does a good job of doing that. As far as it being a reliable source in a debate, I wouldn`t trust it as far as I can throw it.

BTW, this was not done by Osama Bin Laden. He hasn`t made videos since at least 2000. And the USA doesn`t have Hussein in custody! (It is one of his workers, who`s had plastic surgery to look like him, one of many many people made to protect Hussein.)
And the reason that nobody would tell of this sort of orchestration is that all involved are a part of the Illuminati, a secret global organization. Conspiracy "theorists" do not blame the government for giggles. It is a conspiracy possibility which is only in existance to provide the American people with truth.
    That is justice.
    That is Patriotism.

sqdp- I hope you`re being sarcastic if not you`re really are insane.

Osama release a video after the afganistan bombings.

They did a DNA test on Hussein and it proved positive

I still blame our crap administration for the fact osama is still free and mooning us while we simply gave up looking for him

I`m not being sarcastic, nor am I insane.
Osama never confessed to 9/11 and hasn`t made any tapes since at least 2000. And how would a DNA test prove positive? They would have to have his DNA on file, which I don`t believe they did. People are too eager to believe what they`re told. They`re afraid to face what could possibly be happneing. Just my opinion on things.

Hey, kenninator, why don`t you try to formulate your own views instead of thieving those of intelligent critics? Your post seems to be copied verbatim from some other well-known critique of the views in this film. Either create your own views or credit those the created the ones you cite.

This was sad. I couldn`t imagine going through something like that. I couldn`t imagine not knowing whether or not my daughter was ok or my family etc. Every time I see something about 9/11 I want to hug my child tighter than I normally do. When the families of those who passed away do an interview I want to cry with them because I feel as if I can feel their pain of loosing their loved ones. The grieving process is far from over for many people. I just hope that eventually everyone can move on with their lives.

Osama directly qouted in a video AFTER 9/11 THAT HE CLAIMS THE RESPONSIBLITY OF THE ATTACK. I can never see how Saddam was connected to 9/11

Out of all the hijackers not one of them was Iraqi

Exactly sulu. Saddam Hussein was not involved with 9/11. But neither was Osama Bin Laden. Where there videos after 9/11 of bin Laden? Well, that`s what it appears to be. But if you studied this, if you looked at it from all angles, you`d realize it`s not even Osama. As it is NOT Hussein in US custody. They pull the wool over your eyes. As Americans, we shouldn`t argue over this on some silly internet forum. As citizens of this world, we should band together and seek the truth. Surely you don`t expect the goverment is always truthful. It is, after all, politics. Why should they start now?

you`re right we shouldn`t argue but just so you know where I stand

Osama was invovlved There was a video released after. Take the time to look for it and you will find it.
I want him to pay for 9/11
If not that then allying himself with the Taliban

Saddam frankly i don`t really give poo about.
He had nothing to do with 9/11 and his only crime was the Gulf War.

I try not to base my info off what the government gives me. I base my facts off science. But since there seems to be a lack of that in this world I simply research from more than one scource.

Guys, guys, guys, guys, chill. You don`t have to get so argumentative over such a sad issue. People have died there, people have died in other disasters (and are still dying) around the world and you are arguing over what can and can`t be posted in a specific topic. Leave it out...

Commenting on the video: the video is a very good video in terms of position and quality, it was crystal clear, but no video on this subject is properly "good" in my opinion.

    Love to all who lost someone on 11th September 2001 x x x x x x x x x x
