Eh, you can always tell it`s fake because his position never changes, the goes on straight lines, if he wobbled a little bit it would be more believeable.
the guy at the end sounded so authentic when he said how he saw the guy levitating... and also mentioning the guys full name as well. really authentic.
people, people, people, ya gotta stop playa hatin.
we all get the figgen point about 45 comments ago, its fake, pretty kick ass fake but fake (Pure Jenius, it would be funny if you are right) anyways people stop giving the same suggestion over and over unles you got somethin else funny to say with it.
now that we have that aside lets have some tea and pie.
the reason why he is staying so still is because they stopped the camera, and just got a criss angel balloon to float across... the "spotter" was actually just holding a string and pulling the balloon across. They stopped the camera once it touched the next building, and *poof* instant levitation!
I so want a criss angel balloon of my own, but i haven`t decided yet if i would keep it outside, or in one of my dorm`s bathrooms at night.
(And yes, I was being sarcastic, who cares how it`s done, it`s still pretty awesome.)
And Ottoman...ooh somebody`s having a temper tantrum! Time for your nappy nap!
Microfiber is stronger than steel even at tenths of an inch to hundredths of an inch.
The reason he is so stiff in this video is to avoid swaying from the fibers, it would ruin the illusion.
I have a DVD that I payed like $60 for a while back that shows how they set everything up and then the actual performance by magicians...I`ll put the title up if I can find it.
Also... I bet people just clicked that link so they can point out how its fake :-)
Notice as he first starts to `mystically rise into the air` that he sways a bit in the breeze. Also notice that as he approaches the other side, he is not in line , then suddenly, from a different angle, he`s perfectly in line on the approach.
Matwix. Been confirmed? By who? Criss`s agent? ;-) - Anyone who seriously believes a man can actually levitate and that Criss didn`t use wires is absolutely nutso. He`s a street magician. Not blessed with supernatural powers. It`s a bloody trick, and not a very convincing one either.
No, the people where real, Criss never (and it`s even been confirmed) ever closes off streats, what you see is what you get.
Anyway, that was awful. I saw people acting, pretending to be amazed, and that looked fake though.
video editing. so faaake.
Seriously, this is all paid bystanders, wires, and a closed lot. I know it`s fake, but don`t make it so golly gee wiz obvious. Street magic impresses me more, because hell if I can figure out the card tricks so easily.
