Oh that`s badass, you actually seen it?
yes we are>-(
and yes, they slowed it at the worst possible times.
That said...the mouse didn`t earn his freedom, mice have this instinctual need to avoid the sharp pointy teeth that wants to eat it.
I for one agree with the sentiment.
I don`t decry the circle of life, the snake is a pet and must be taken care of. I don`t see a problem with live food.
However, it seems a bit masochistic to film it and put it on the internet for people to think its cool. You`re not the nature channel, and the setting isn`t natural. So don`t try to pretend the need to video tape the occasion is secular.
To me it`s akin to video taping the cool way grampa`s eyes bug out as he`s coughing in intensive care and posting it on the internet.
You just made my day.
To the whinners: deal with it. It was either a natural injection of venom after a real hunt, or instant death trapped inside a freezer.
Either way, the mouse is dead.
Yea, I too feel bad for the mouse. They shouldn`t have frozen it though, it`s the circle of life. Look at it this way, your trapped in a glass container, you CANT get out, your life pretty much sucks and you only look forward to your dinner. That`s probably the most fun he has all day.
first of all, not everyone who owns snakes feeds them live food because they like seeing little animals die, i don`t like to see it, but my snakes won`t eat frozen, and not because we haven`t tried. plus it`s pretty tough to find frozen extra-large rats. And second of all, since when is it the law in any country that you can`t feed a snake live food?
Then again the snake had to eat something sometime.
Favorite part was when it jumped BACK against the left side of the glass and then off again. I`d say eff it and let the mouse free after that.
