"but seriously, McDonalds is like Crack Cocaine. It is the most addictive fast food out there, and it can kill you (if you eat too much). I know what you are thinking. Who would eat at McDonalds that much? Obese People."
theres truth in that, but UNLIKE cocain its not addictive the first time, or the second.. its only addictive if you make it a habit. eat it every day, its addictive. eat it a few times a week, its perfectly fine. obese people are obese BECAUSE they eat it so much, and they dont do anything about it.
if you dont want to exersize, dont eat alot of fatty food. end of story.

`also another study has been done a woman only ate McDonalds salads and actually lost 5 pounds. So their.`
Nothing but McDonalds salads? That may make her lose weight, but that`s because she`s not eating any meat; or grain.
And that`s not healthy.

Eating McDonalds every DAY is.

"Another way of saying `Lunch time, fatties.`" -Enth

haha that is so true!

but seriously, McDonalds is like Crack Cocaine. It is the most addictive fast food out there, and it can kill you (if you eat too much). I know what you are thinking. Who would eat at McDonalds that much? Obese People.

McDonalds food is a drug. In SupersizeMe, about halfway through, the guy felt depressed when he wasnt eating.

Also, many americans Dont exercise, so if they eat even one meal from McDonalds per day they will gain lots of weight and start to become overweight.

This ad was pretty clever, compared to their other ones. Has anyone else seen the ad for their asian salad? it says Not Recommended For Sumo Wrestlers. What could that mean, i wonder?

Are they too `fat` for it? Is the salad too fragile for them? I just don`t get it. It makes no sense.

Speaking of McDonalds salads, did you know that there are 7 items from McDonalds without sugar, and none of them are salads?

McDonalds doesn`t promote obesity, lazy fat bas-tards promote obesity. There is nothing wrong with eating McDonalds, as long as you don`t eat a ton of it, and you exercise. That`s why I have a problem with movies like Supersize Me, the guy eats a ton McDonalds to prove that it`s so bad for you. but there was a woman who did a similar study but not in movie form, she ate one meal of McDonalds every day, but she exercised regularly and she didn`t gain any weight.

"think of it this way, by selling fatty foods mcdonalds is PROMOTING execise(to work off the extra fat, but people dont really care."

laugh my ass off. You should work for Micky D`s. Ever see "Thank you for Smoking"? You could be an exec.

Anyways, clever add, but I don`t eat at MDs. It`s just nasty. Everytime I hear someone coming from eating there, they say "mmmm, it was good"... then 5 minutes later they say "Ughhh, I feel like crap". Duh.

"I`d think this was really cool if it wasn`t promoting obesity."
i would think YOU were really cool, if you werent promoting stupidity. well, maybe i still wouldnt.
tehre really is nothing that bad about mcdonalds, sure the food is rally fatty, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt eat it. just dont be lazy.
think of it this way, by selling fatty foods mcdonalds is PROMOTING execise(to work off the extra fat, but people dont really care.

Oh and ryan14 it didn`t say mcdonalds invented breakfast. If you looked at the full quote it said “McDonald’s invented breakfast in the quick service restaurant industry,”. You might actually want to read things before you form opinions and post false information.

Whoever said the placement of this billboard is in the ghettos is an idiot. It`s in wrigleyville also known as boystown which is a pretty upscale neighborhood in Chicago. (I live just a bit north of wrigleyville). And McDonalds isn`t bad to have once in a while. And yes people do eat McDonalds for brekfast. As a matter of fact, egg mcmuffins are a tradition in my family. Not every day, but every once and a while. And just for your information I am an competitive athletic dancer and last time I checked, I`m not obese.

^^^Advertising isn`t necessarily about promoting their food (or product...)to you - it`s about making their name stick out above the others at some time later down the road. This definitely does that.

Now why can`t anyone besides take-over-the-world-type-coorporations come up with amazingly cool stuff like this? Oh, wait...

Why do so many people assume that you have to be obese to eat at McDonalds? Sure, it’s not the healthiest food you can eat but it’s ok every once and a while. It’s not McDonald’s fault that there’re so many fat people out there, the fault lies with everyone who can’t accept that moderation is the key and that you can’t endlessly sustain yourself on fast food.

DaddyIssues:
Leo burnett is good... but I really can`t stand the "crazy good" Pop-Tarts adverts. They seemed to rip-off the "Rejected" series from Don Hertzfeldt.

Stick figures doing "Crazy" things and are used for advertising.
