Will it be like at BK when the syrup runs out and you get a cup full of nasty carbonated water, or will it know the levels of everything and be able to react?

it`ll be like on a robot phoneline:
    "Please select language"
    "English."
    "You have selected - Chinese"
    "NO!!!"

    at the bar:

    "Please select age"
    "54"
"You are 15. i cannot serve beverages to you. You have been recorded."
    "NO!!!"

ahhaa :D dreddloxx I`d marry you!

This is cool..I`d love to have it in my house for parties but when I finally do go to the bar, and I`m sitting there getting nice and drunk I don`t know if a computer will be able to get "give me another beer" from "wannayellowjuiceNOW". Besides, I`ve taken serving it right and it would be really difficult for a computer to determine when someone`s had too much....

no...its NICE i gett more for MY money!
this would be soo good. i always suspect bartenders take extra money from me when im at the peak of my drinking. i dont trust humans, robots are better in some ways. apperantly at bartending to! i so want the bars in sweden had this, and not those pesky humans.

Well,LaChica, considering how bad some American beers are(yes,I`m talking to you Bud,yes, and you,Coors!),I think `other crap` might actually be an improvement...not that you would know this,as you are underage...

Yeah, but can it understand your requests when your drunk?

    Sober : "I want a beer"
    robot : "Here you are"

    Drunk "ISH WUNTF A BEEAR"
Robot : "Kill you with an axe? Very well"

Ajikan, pumpkin I said when I finally do go to a bar :)

The legal age here is 19, I turn 18 in a month. One more year and I`ll finally go to a bar.

But, this is a hick town with not much to do...so yes, there is plenty of underaged drinking and so I know that when I am drunk I don`t speak properly.

I can understand the positive points the bar owners are thinking of, BUT what about the biggest negative? What is going to happen when this robot breaks down? I bet it is VERY pricey to fix this tin can bartender.

I work for Starbucks - I really hope they don`t get robot Baristas!

They won`t fly long. Half the fun of Human bartenders is you get to complain to them when your girlfriend dumps you, or they can tell you dirty jokes, and tell you when you have had to much. And once in a while, they are good for a ride, or hookups! Plus they are cool. And there is a smaller chance of revolt. And if the power goes out, you can`t get wasted. That`s bad.

    Wouldnt work...

Because to order drinks, the robot would either need to have a touch menu or a good voice recognition.

Just imagine, when your drunk trying to order another drink by pressing the touch menu, or rambling on and on to the robot who could barely understand you when you werent drunk.
