^^^that is exactly it^^

it is not that the teens are dumb, it is that they are impressionable. they will go along with whatever is cool in the minds of who is cooler than them.. (see: south park: stupid slutty whore episode)

my first post was meant as a joke.. of course you`re allowed to have an opinion, it just doesn`t really matter to anyone but yourself

Darkwolfyone read me above statement to iamlayla. Most of it applies to you too. As to you having the same papers that I do, yeah maybe, but when was the last time you read one. The problem is that you (generalization to all 13-17) don`t read them. I bet you just listen to what your parents say and then you belt it out like a F-ing parrot to us and all your friends.

Indigo M..... Right on.

At least you have reasons for believing in what you do. What you say makes alot of sense, but may I warn you about one thing. Please don`t start playing the Left Wing Right Wing tune. I hate that crap. The worst is the extremists on either end. The world is not black and white, and answers are not always yes and no. Anytime you label yourself as one or the other you close your mind to what they have to say, and that is the ole ostrich with it`s head in the sand approach. We should always listen to all sides before making a decision. Bipartisanship is killing this country. But I like what you have to say mostly

I bet you think that we should leave Iraq right now. Wouldn`t that just contradict what you said earlier about us leaving early and leaving stuff messed up? And bombing the crap out orf them for no apparent reason? What are you talking about there, so that I may once again highlight your ingnorance. Pop quiz, what was the reason for us going into Iraq? Can you answer that? If not, then shut up. As for the rest or the Teenie boppers, I do not mean to rip on you all, only the ones that make a stance with absolutely nothing to back that stance up. I respect those of you who said "I just don`t like him, I may not know much about global politics, but I just don`t like the guy. He is rough around the edges and doesn`t seem that bright." that is an opinion, and not a political stance. When you start saying we went there for no reason, and that we shouldn`t be there, that is a political stance, and if you can`t tell me why You think that, then SHUT THE F UP!

Ohhhhh, lets go there iamlayla. So, why don`t you name one war started by the US in the past 100 years, besides the Gulf Conflict, which was not a war. Name one war we went to that was not backed by the United Nations. Tell me this if you know about global politics. How long has Israel been a nation? What is the 7 days war. Who is the president of Iran. What is the 12th Imam, and what does he believe about it. How long has Iran been an enemy of ours. Once you know the answers to these we can START to talk you 14 year old teenie bopper. As to your comment on us going there sticking our nose into other people`s business and then leaving, tell me exactly what you are talking about, so that I can answer and shoe your ignorance. Notice I am saying Ignorance, I didn`t call you dumb. You may be dumb, you may not be, but you are ignorant. If you don`t know the difference then that proves my point, and if you are flipping around in the dictionary right now that also proves it.

Ok I worded that wrong when I said "He doesn`t agree with Kofi`s plan because..." I was trying to address his approach to the situation not his reason for diagreeing with Kofi`s plan. I wasn`t arguing for Israeli restraint, I was saying that Bush sounded like a jerk and demonstrates a complete lack of respect for the other leaders. He always thinks it should be his way or the highway and he is always ready to take militant action. I just don`t agree with that. It`s tyrannical.

About the tax cuts and anti-terror initiatives, I find it funny that you would deny their successes. The economic growth rate is nearly four times what it was during the Clinton administration and every terrorist plot aimed at America since 9/11/2001 has been thwarted.

Male 354
VolcomStoner, you have it all wrong. Bush doesn`t agree with Kofi`s plan because it is stupid and wrong. Kofi Annan and the rest of the U.N. care nothing for justice; they are concerned only with self-interest and working against America and Israel.
People who urge Israeli restraint are either ignorant of history or anti-Semitic. I hope Israel keeps going until Hezbollah is completely destroyed.

In the recording Bush is basically expressing his frustration with Syria for not taking action against Hezbollah. He doesn`t agree with Kofi`s plan because Bush is all about forcing people to do what he wants with complete disregard. The whole conversation reflects his lack of respect for the other leaders. He complained that they spoke for too long and he was going to make something up and get out of there asap. He comes off as an arrogant prick only concerned with his own agenda.

America`s enemies, such as Al-Qaeda, Iran, and Michael Moore, spread lies and propaganda to wage a public relations campaign against America. Their goal is the destruction of the United States and they believe it will be easier to accomplish that goal if they can indoctrinate as much of the U.S. population as possible.

If you`re not sure what to think about world events, just follow a rule I use: whatever people like Saddam Hussein, Bin Laden, Zawahiri, and Michael Moore say, believe the opposite. Extensive news research is essential as well, but it always supports my rule.

Male 354
iamlayla, Michael Moore is a well-known LIAR. He purposefully distorts and lies in his films to dupe the public into hating the president and this country. You have demonstrated your own gullibility by citing him as a source.

You have also shown you know absolutely NOTHING about the war in Iraq. Let me summarize: The U.S. and Britain independently gathered that Saddam Hussein was hiding WMDs. A coalition of nations sent troops into Iraq to a) find the weapons, and b) dethrone the murderous dictator and establish a democracy. However, problems arose when Al-Qaeda sent terrorists into Iraq to attack the coalition forces, so our forces now are staying in Iraq to help combat the terrorists and train the Iraqi military and police to do it on their own.
Bombing civilians? Hardly. If you want to know about targeting civilians, look up your heroes such as Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Try getting your news from an actual news source from now on.

Stop trying to find every little nit picky thing to hate about him, no matter what bush does people find some reason to bash him, and when he does something right people complain about how he finally did something he should have been doing all along and dont give him any credit for it. Not that he is even doing that much wrong. I like how casual he is with Blair and he just seems so normal. I wouldnt want a president who is perfect and cant eat normally (dont act like thats not how you eat yourselves sometimes) and has to talk all proper to everyone about everything.

About the thing about younger ppl being ignorant. Its true, I used to be one of them.. Thought I knew all the answers and everything about current events. Then I grew up and realized I didn`t know anything. I had to reevaluate my entire world. Ppl accuse Bush of having a simplistic view on everything, If you want a really simplistic view then ask your average 13-17 liberal/conservative "activist" on IAB. It will make the most simplistic and erroneous statement Bush has ever made seem a masterpiece of wellbalanced diplomacy.

why is it all the people defending bush find it necessary to blow everything out of proportion. to take a simple shot at him chewing with his mouth open and cursing into some huge political stand point. it was just a joke, ya know, haha, joke. someone could make fun of your bestfriend for the same thing and you wouldn`t feel such an urgent need to defend them. you`d probably just laugh with everyone else.

and i really hate the little generalization made about 13-17 y.o. posters not knowing anything about politics. we all live in the same world, we all have access to information, we can all watch the news and read a book, so how is that just because we`re younger we know nothing? i don`t see how that works out.

kitten soup, I would be impressed if you could use facts to coherently explain why Bush is such an awful president. His tax cuts and anti-terror initiatives have worked wonders. Would you prefer a president who would surrender to the terrorists, such as John Murtha? He`s no Ronald Reagan, but at least he`s not gullible like Carter or self-serving like Clinton.

As for world opinion of him, I don`t worry about it. Far too much of the world is at least as misinformed as you are. Their media gives them the impression that Bush is a sadistic, imperialistic Satan worshipper. Trying to impress other world leaders is a waste of time, since they can be as unconvincable as you.

(cont.) I think the reason this video has inspired so much attention is because it encapsulates many of the most irritating things about our dear president. His simplistic thought process, his ignorance of longstanding foreign affairs, his lack of personal respect and/or total disregard for social propriety, his uncouthness, and his all-out pride for being as slack-jawed and boorish as he is. He`s like your drunk uncle at a public family gathering in a restaurant, talking loudly and making an ass of himself, and you just want to turn to the nearest person and say, "I`m not a member of this family! He and I don`t really come from the same gene set!"

Calling him names because of his eating habits just shows how desperate some of you are to hate Bush. It turns out that presidents aren`t mythical beings of perfection, no matter how much you believe they are.

I don`t think the point of the video is to mock his eating style, I think the point is that it`s
an insight into what major world leaders say when they`re off guard.

Haha it`s so fashionable to have a go at Bush nowadays that it`s got unfashionable again. You know you`re unpopular when that happens.

I think the media is desperate to get dirt on him that makes him look stupid. Clinton got bj`s in the oval office, Bush senior puked on the Japanese President with the flu and Reagan admitted to getting astrology advice from Nancy - it`s pretty standard to try and rip on the U.S. President.

About the talking with his mouth full: his mom is probably pi$$ed.
I thought it was cool when he said poo...enough of high faluting political rhetoric, call it like you see it.

Yeah, I don`t understand... we`re mocking him because he`s talking, and he said "poo?" ... I say poo sometimes, what`s it matter? ... *shrug*

i don`t see what sort of stance needs to be taken when commenting on him chewing with his mouth open. and just because there are people that make fun of bush because everyone else is, doesn`t mean that everyone who does, does it for that reason. it`s not as if there aren`t ample opportunities to take shots at bush.

I agree, all you little teenie boppers have no idea what the F global politics are. You have no true understanding of the international incedents and you take shots at Bush because everyone loves to hate him. I don`t agree with everything he has done, but if you are going to disagree, at least have a F-ing stance that you can back. Read a G-damn book once in a while and look at the history of the middle east over the past 100 years.
