It is exactly *because* people (that don`t know anything about rodeo) think that the animals are poorly treated, that they are actually quite well protected.
they dont get rodeo animals mad, the animals all know their job. bulls naturally dont like people on their backs, so they buck. bucking straps are pretty much just to make sure the bull doesnt give one heave and stop, it only pinches if hes bucking at his all. its not even around his nuts, half of them are steers. if ppl did abuse the animals like its claimed, no bull on the planet would stand like that to let them pull the rider off, even tied. it would have an extreme fear and or hatred of ppl. go to a real rodeo and see how the animals are after the riders off, an animal abused like you all think would not react the way they do. </rant>
Bull fighting = stab bull to death
Bull riding = hop on bull, bull is let loose, bull throws you off. Bull goes back to his pen, is fed, ect.
-and I smiled through the whole thing. Vicariousness!
If he did indeed die, I bet it was almost painless.
I know. He looked like he was trying to lasso the hump on the bull`s back.
The bull got subdued pretty well, though.
btw, always wear a helmet. one for your brain, one for your weenie.
