I am pretty sure it is, lots of channels watermark their commercials trailing and coming into shows.
the ad was for hotels.com, but the anchor-lady said hotel.com...
i just checked hotel.com vs. hotels.com and they are the same thing...
that was funny.
They don`t normally have the ABC logo in the bottom right of commercials. That commercial was a part of that news broadcast.
and i really did.
spend your money at hotels.com even though the show that is coming on in 5 seconts will tell you our service is horrable so go to hotels.com and come again ^^
lol i love this clip soo much
1) the little watermark plays minutes before and after shows, during commercials at times
2) rights and obligations to play the commercial - airtime advertisements are usually set-up weeks in advance, and ABC would have no right to use the "full" commercial unless it had permission, which they would not have been given (most likely) in relation with this story.
So I really think that it was paid for in advance, and either a) came up in the commercial que at just the right timeb) one of the guys there tweaked the commercial que just a little bit because he has a sense of humor
or something like that heh
