What I don`t understand is the lady with kitchen appliance and the Christmas trees stand.. Why did it take her all the way until she got home before she realized the amount that she paid at the store? Maybe it`s just me, but I know what I am paying when I pay it, not thirty minutes later.

Haggle? With the exception of automobiles, if you are haggling for a price, you are shopping at the wrong place. In todays market, there is so much competition on the internet, you should be able to get the best price online, then paypal it. Haggling is for third world markets. The authors name is Cohen. Go figure, walking stereotype.

girls scare me.
it costs as much as it costs, if you want it for that much, buy it, if you don`t leave it and look for something else!

"She invited the top three to visit her home and give her a written estimate. Their prices ranged from $2,800 to $3,800.
She called the two with the lowest prices -- the costliest one probably wasn`t going to budge enough to be competitive -- and told the pair the job was between them. "Then I asked if they could come down in price."
Both called the next day. Greenberg went with the lowest bid -- $2,600 -- a savings of more than $1,000. "
Anyone noticed on this one how they purposedly falsifie facts? The lowest bid was 2800, so she only really saved 200$ not over 1k$.

The hard drive one is completely retarded. 100 bucks for a 2 minute job and they can`t get it done in a week? Plus, that women should really be smarter to ask a friend to help instead of paying 100 $ and wait over a week for such a small job.
