I took one look at the clunky block and tackle, huge ropes and thought to myself...that is so ugly and pointless,it must be french. The tractor and 50 guys in tights prancing around killed the magic. A turd,no matter how you super-size it, is still a turd.

My dad saw this when it was in London and he said it was amazing. I`m going to see it in calais later this year :D

btw nicole_xo, they did it in London but the group is French. Those are not military uniforms, they are dressed as footmen. And the point of it was to stage a massive cultural event that would get people involved in the arts.

Eep...that was creepy. I wanted to light it on fire or something o_o

The music added to the effect. I think it was the eyes...those horrible eyes... *hides under a rock*

Oh yah and I`m guessing this is Britain, because they are wearing British suits from the REVOLUTIONARY WAR. Which THEY LOST.

No offence, but even though it was awsome, it was a HUGE waste of money. What was the freaking point of that?

That was SO COOL!!! the head/face/eye movements made it so lifelike, as for the way her body moved, i just think it looked like the way a puppet should move. Anyways my fav part was when "it" was looking at the kids swinging on her arm. THey got the eye movements just right to make her look incredable.

^^^ Indeed. As impressive as puppetry can be, I find that puppeteers are often rather odd individuals. The plots they come up with can be downright bogus. This one is no different.

The movement of her head and eyes was amazing, and the facial expression was great, but the movement of her body left something to be desired. Think it must have been one of those things where they underestimated the amount of rehearsal time they`d need, and the performance came up before they were ready.

The extended licking of the popsicle was just bizarre and unpleasant.

That is the most unbelievably pointless thing I have even seen. If that was just to tell some story, it was stupid.
"Yes, every morning I wake up and take a shower by having an elephant blow snot water on me then sit in a chair."
It takes like an hour for her to do anything. Pointless!!!!

that was in london a while ago. she looked alot bigger then, so did the elephant. the whole thing took a few hours and she end up takin off in a spaceship. i didnt understadn the story at the time cos there were no words. still dont

I dont like how she was so close to the crowd.
If her head or arm fell off it would kill at least 3 people.

The was incredible. Her eyes were so expressive. She really looked like she was feeling emotions.

And you are right Osprey, it does have the same surreal feeling as Being John Malkovich.
