i live in florida and it sucks balls more than anything. In december we had no winter at all. one day the temp went into the high 60s. Also there are so many pushy old people that hate young kids. And the old people run everything down here so all the buildings are old and over priced. The beach is ok but barely anybody can afford ot live near there. If you want to live on the beach you can get a pooty place for as low as 2 million. I dont hate jewish people but all the old people in florida are jews and there all the bad jews too. No frendly ones. I advise you never go to florida ever

U of I isn`t even a good college! Its a party college. On any given weekend its full of drunk partiers that crowd up the only decent feature of IC, its pedmall, which is crappy anyhow. Plus the suprisingly high number of bums, and the 5 or 8 tornadoes that went through there a couple of months ago. (all at once, btw) And destroyed its only good street. (Govenor, if anyone cares)

Well, I`m just happy KC is on a list. A good one at least. Cause KC was rated the worst city to have a date at. Although I don`t want to be remembered for our BBQ, I`m not that big of a fan of meat.

"pittsburgh? are you serious? i just had a hockey tournament there and unless you wanna get second hand smoke from all the factories i dont recommend living there. plus its distgusting."

It`s not that bad, especially if you live just out of town. I`m also upset that there wasn`t a single place in Florida on that list. Just because Disney is here doesn`t mean it`s a hell hole.

Holland Michigan? They make office chairs there, that`s it, the town is taupe colored, it`s nickname is beigetown. Some one threw darts at a map to make this list.

Austin, TX is nice, I`ve been there before. It`s a lot more friendlier (looking) than some cities I`ve been to...

i would think that NYC was a great place to live. i mean, sure, it`s expensive to live in the city (manhattan) but you can find a nice place to live in the outer boroughs. i mean, nyc doesnt usually have hurricanes, tornadoes or earthquakes, there`s ease of transporation (subway & bus system) and the water is very nice :D

Signed up just to comment on this. (love I-A-B, btw) Iowa City, Ia!? LMAO ^^A7NACHMB, you are so right. I mean, it`s far from being a terrible place, I`m sure there are worse, just don`t know if I`d consider it a "smart" place to live...unless, of course, by "smart" they mean living in a college town in the middle of boring nowhere.

Alright! Kansas City! It`s really boring after a while and every night on the news there`s always someone shot. I don`t care if it`s boring, though, I love my hometown!

Well that`s all well and good for cost of living figures. What I hate about stupid articles like this is they don`t figure (or tell you) about the income factor. "Smart"
