Way to kiss the ass of the French... if only we had a president like Chirac, we might be in a better position to tolerate the rioting in our streets of foreigners, Muslims and non-whites alike, as murderous and haneous acts hatred against our country and it`s people, and still be able to muster the "national resolve" necessary to feel SORRY for them when it`s all over!

Oh yeah, we would be so much better off if Kerry won. We certainly wouldn`t be in a war right now. Listen, Kerry lost Bush won, stop crying about it. It is so annoying to hear all the little douche bags say they hate Bush. No one drating cares about your oppinion retard. Jesus christ it seems this site is being overrun by 8 year olds. Shut the drat up and spend your energy on something useful, like commiting suicide.

Hey, xDefilerx... I like how you make fun of the people who don`t like Bush on this site for being immature, and yet you`re the one calling them 8 - year olds. Honestly man, didn`t anybody teach you that the smart man uses logic, while the Republican resorts to making fun of others. (Oh and by the way, I like the whole "nobody cares what you think" clause -- it doesn`t at all typify you as an ignoramus who lives in a self-centered world. (But I guess that`s what the GOP wants you to beleive) Oh and by the way the whole "death to those who have different ideas than me" sphiel at the end of your post definitely matches your pointy white hat and robes. So, next time you`re at your Republican convention, don`t forget your "lynchin` rope"! ;-)

"but, how is your post bitching about people who don`t like Bush (we are allowed that opinion, you know) any different than other peoples` posts bitching about Bush?"

Just like you said, you are allowed to that oppion (Bush hating). I am allowed to my oppinion aswell, which is hating people like them.

I don`t mind Bush haters, it is just most of them seem to be uneducated in the matter. Most of them don`t even know why they hate him, they just do. People compare him to Hitler and see him as a terrorist, which is ridiculous. They claim HE is the one who started war with Iraq, yet he can`t. They claim HE started the war just so we could steal Iraq`s oil. If you are going to hate on someone, atleast do it with facts and not bullpoo.

To kargod: You said "I like how you make fun of the people who don`t like Bush on this site for being immature, and yet you`re the one calling them 8 - year olds."

Are not most 8 yr olds immature? (yes)

You also say: "Honestly man, didn`t anybody teach you that the smart man uses logic, while the Republican resorts to making fun of others

then right after that, you attack xDefilerx personally rather than using your own "unbiased" logic. here is what you said: "it doesn`t at all typify you as an ignoramus who lives in a self-centered world."

I would expect better from an 18 - 29 year old man...

Just to add to the political debate. Personally i dont understand why there is constant critique of bush by everyone including every american i know, and he still gets voted for. Either he heavily manipulates these campaigns, or half of u americans are pooty wimpy uncultured drattard hillbilly redeck assdrats. I personally the second option sounds most plausible. Goobye asswipes, may u bash or rather shoot ur own drating worthless heads in. Here in europe we would be glad about it. Goodbye

    That`s not saying much, wonderboytx.

xDefilerx, it`s better off to be educated and... still hate Bush, is that right? I think your problem is with others simply criticizing your President and you are attempting to silence that criticism by belittling everyone. But you know, extreme conservatism is still fascism. I`d watch where you`re headed.

By the way, why did you bring up Kerry? I couldn`t give two sh*ts for Kerry. I rather wish Nader won, because, you know, he was running too.

celticzaida, the Hillary and all the other Democrats were saying exactly the same things Bush did about Iraq in the 90s. How could Bush mislead them if they had the same facts and the same opinion to begin with?

I`m also tired of the Euroweenies who trash Bush while their own countries crumble under the weight of Muslim terrorists and socialism. If you`re some white flag waving Frenchman or Spaniard, your input means absolutely nothing. I`d rather have a president who has the courage to stand up to terrorism than one who invites it.

    Hey, two things:

    1) celticzaida, VOOOOOWWW he has an internet connection, that must make him rich. Anyone in the US has one, and sadly enough also the southern states

    2) quote: "I`m also tired of the Euroweenies who trash Bush while their own countries crumble under the weight of Muslim terrorists and socialism. If you`re some white flag waving Frenchman or Spaniard, your input means absolutely nothing. I`d rather have a president who has the courage to stand up to terrorism than one who invites it." by Doppel.

Doppel prooves my theory, as he represents the perfectly average southern state american. We in europe have better things to do than spend our billions into military, and rather build a good economy and social system.Ur president doesnt have courage, i mean for f...u...c....k...s sake, all hes trying to do is grasp onto the last oil reserves the world bears. I`m staying out of it, I just want to say that it doesn`t matter if they were talking about the president of the company on the tag, anyone who reads that is going to assume that the makers meant Bush (I speak marginal French and that girl was right, it really does say that). 1) You don`t vote for the president of your company.
    2) Why do American`s think it`s their business to fight a war to save people who didn`t want to be saved in the first place?
    3) who decides what is terrorism and what isnt? I`m sure American`s have displays plenty of terrorist-like activities while invading iraq.
    4) Bush should be charged with war crimes. He`s knowlding ordered the torture and murder of thousands since he`s been elected.
    5) How many trillions is the US in debt now? You need to go to war to make enough money to try and pay off your debt. (Wars are very profitable finacially)

"Whoa! Looks like someone never got an 8th grade education! Hey kid, study up on the 3 brances."

I see you never got an 8th grade education either, xDefilerx. The Vietnam and Korean wars were both undeclared wars. Both of the Gulf wars were undeclared though supported and funded by Congress. Bush`s war on terrorism (Iraq, Afghanistan, and soon Iran) is undeclared. Bush`s war on civil rights was also undeclared. So tell me, how can a single man from the executive branch not start a war when the first act of starting the war is declaration?

You ignorant Americans know nothing of socialism. Without socialist programs, you`d have no welfare, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, or other form of social insurance. Where would you be, I wonder?

What I loved most about Germany`s form of government is that once one has a place of residence, they automatically get health care. Here, I`m left at the mercy of ravenous doctors and merciless insurance companies.

that`s it? seriously? I don`t hold either side of the argument but let me speak against you here...

IF a government or leader was so hell-bent to start a war (that the general country is against) for their own personal gain, do you think they would be going by the rules just because some paper says they have to?

I`m not one of those government conspiracy hippies, but I don`t think you should trust everything ANY government tells you.

So...until you can give some facts (as you ask from the bush whackers) you don`t have much stance in the argument.

I find it interesting that when bill clinton got jiggy with monica, people hated him and he lost the next election after that. George bush plays a major role in invading a country and starts a war, is responsible for the loss of lives of thousands of innocent iraqs, american and british troops, he goofs up on his public speeches countless times... yet over half the american population still choose him for president o.O There is definately some fiddling of votes on his part, how else could this possibly happen

"I find it interesting that when bill clinton got jiggy with monica, people hated him and he lost the next election after that."

Wait, didn`t Clinton serve two terms?
You`re not allowed to run for presidency after serving two terms.
And as far as I know, people began hating him during his second term.. Someone correct me if I`m wrong, here..

snowy you are correct. you cant run after 2 terms, people didnt hate clinton as a president usually.. in fact many people cant even say what he did during his presidency, and those that do know what he did, liked him. They disliked his infedelity and disrespect to political figures but that was it.

bubble, i see youre from europe but please re read what you wrote. a president doesnt have anything to do with our voting over here. from the first time a vote was done in America the voting system has been in place, with very few changes. It almost always works out, and it keeps it more fair then not. Sometimes people dont like the outcome but thats to be expected. A president sits by the TV like every other person, with their phone in hand to hear the results, they have no hand in the counting.

    the end.

Not as bad as scrawling a message on a sh*t house door, but along the same lines. Feeble, immature, and cowardly. If you want to say something that you feel strongly about, then get up and shout it out for everyone to say. Don`t be a yellow bellied sh*t and say it on the sneak so no one can say who exactly said it. I give it two thumbs DOWN!

I would like to formally apologize to xDefilerx, if he percieved my statements (which I agree were a bit harsh) as being personal insults. I in no way meant them to be a personal attack, but can see how they can be percieved as being so. I was simply pointing out how ignorant people are typified. And you must acknowledge that most ignorant people are biased towards people of their own skin color. (And the republican comment at the end was a bit harsh too. sorry)

I just wanted to point out that Bush`s approval rating a couple months ago had dropped BELOW Abraham Lincoln`s at the outbreak of the Civil War in the SOUTHERN states. So it`s not true that everybody likes him that much. And the reason that I personally believe that he isn`t the best presidential candidate is because of his skewed priorities. I`m reffering to the fact that we have had two of the largest disasers in the history of the United States during his terms (September 11 and Katrina/ Rita)and our priorities are still on the outside world. It`s not like we don`t have enough problems to take care of within the borders, but a vast majority of our resources and expenditures are focused on countries most of us will never even visit. The bigget problem that createss is the Trillion-dollar deficit. Sorry to break this to you guys, but we`re going to be the ones who are going to have to pay off those loans...

    cnlbell,

A slight problem with what you said... according to the Patriot Act (which is strangely similar to Hitler`s enabling act passed after he took power), speaking out against the governmentcan be considered a terrorist act. Luckily, it isn`t strictly enforced because there simply aren`t enough cops to put it in effect. I guess that label is a first step. I do agree with you however, that it IS always better to make your opinion known, but that opinion isn`t worth losing a large chunk of sales, and being picketed by people who have an opposing opinion simply because they put a giant anti- Bush label on the front.

`(8) attempts, threatens, or conspires to do any of the aforesaid acts...

I`m unsure how to write out exactly where it is, but it`s under Title VIII, section 1993 (a) (8). Apparently it says that even speaking about possibly committing a terrorist act (which are all defined) is considered criminal.

    Cindy and kargod (I guess),

    You`re kidding, right?

Conspiracy to commit a crime has been illegal for a long time, and it certainly didn`t start with the Patriot act.

To say that this would punish people for `speaking out against the government` is a joke.

I have no problems with america or in general americans. But what i cant stand is uncultured hicks who think they know EVERYTHING about the world bashing other countries. There`s being patriotic and then theres being an idiot. How can someone who thinks france is full of pussys also think the big ol` Us is the supreme country. A country that wages wars on other countries and its people explicitly bash other countries is by no means supreme. I am not saying that the U.k is by no stretch of the imagination free of guilt but there is no way that the us is.

Indigo: true, I live in Belgium! Fries are great here. But anyway I made that comment because of the french fries -> freedom fries thing. I think that`s pretty hilarous.

Seems like the only reason Americans oppose the french is because the french oppose the war...but it seems now most americans also oppose the war...so that`s a bit of a contraditiction isn`t it?

    This is also pretty funny:
"Reckitt Benckiser, makers of French`s mustard, was sufficiently concerned to clarify that their brand name was derived from a family name and to issue a press release affirming its patriotism.

Politically-motivated euphemism like this is reminiscent of anti-German sentiment during the First World War, when sauerkraut was renamed liberty cabbage, and hamburgers, liberty steaks. "

cappez, Americans don`t hate France because it opposed the Iraq war. We hate France because it is a hypocritical country that tried to block America`s action in Iraq simply because President Jacques Chirac had a multi-billion oil deal with Saddam Hussein. Liberals accuse Bush of going to war for oil, but the French and the Germans opposed the war because of their oil interests.

    Two things:

    1) Bush is going to be looked upon as one of the worser of the presidents we`ve had so far in retrospect. That much is fact. We are all so uptight about our political leaders being bad at what they do, making bad decisions, being bad at grammar, etc. We need to realize that ALL politicians are this way, and get the drat over it! I like to look to Canada at times like these- when they have a corrupt politician they just throw him out and get a new one! Thats all we need to do!

People are quite predictable, certain topics can be anticipated as flame fests before I even look at the comments. Yes, our president is an idiot. Our country has no money, we`re so imbedded in a war that we have no national guard left to deal with that whole guarding the nation thing, and because of our occupation of Iraq and Afghanistan we are unable to help more pressing situations financially or militarily, such as sudan, darfur, the AIDs epidemic and other global issues. There we go, facts and logic, and no names mentioned. And Bush isn`t like hitler, hitler was smart but evil, and bush is stupid but he means well. :-)

And also, Bush did start the war. The president is allowed to go to war for up to sixty days before Congress declares war. However, he illegally went over the sixty day limit without recalling troops when our legislature still hadnt declared war.
