THAT`S ONE HELL OF A BADASS MOVE!!! PERSONALLY I LOVE TO PLAY LIKE THAT! I`VE CLEARED BALLS WITH CHILENAS (THOSE BICYCLE KICKS) AND I`VE BEEN INVENTING THIS BADASS CHICANADA I`VE BEEN DOING. IT`S A REVERSE CHILENA, INSTEAD OF KICKING THE BALL WITH WITH THE FRONT FOOT IN BICYCLE STYLE, I DO A FLIP AND KICK THE BALL WITH MY HEEL, KEEPING MY HAND PLANTED ON THE GROUND FOR CONTROL. TAKES A SH*TLOAD OF PRACTICE AND YOU GOTTA CATCH A GOOD ANGLE ON IT, BUT IT`S BADASS!!! GOTTA CALCULATE THE ANGLE AND SPEED AND ALL THIS OTHER STUFF FAST, STARTED INVENTING IT WHEN I WAS PRACTICING CAPOEIRA. I`VE ALSO CLEARED THEM WITH SPIN KICKS AND MATRIX-STYLE KICKS. BADASS SCORPION MOVE GONNA ADD IT TO MY REPERTOIRE. NEVER SEEN THIS POST B4 SO THNXS!!!

The correct word is indeed football. America has it wrong while the rest of the world has it right... sound familiar?

That goalie was known for trying to make the game a show. Kudos to him whether it was offsides or not to make such a play.

"ok this is like the 45th time I saw this on this website, can we get some new poo please."

If you`ve been on here long enough to see it 45 times you gotta get yourself some friends, or somethin`.

He did it because the play was stopped. If there wasn`t any offsides, the other team would have gotten the rebound and taken a shot.

I watched it and the first thing that came to mind was the Eddie Murphy movie "Coming to America." (cue cheesy music) Just let your soul glow! Soul Glow hair care spray...(fade cheesy music).

But, I guess the save (or non-save, whatever) was pretty cool, too. :-)

he was actually trying to perfect his WORM dance and accidentally kicked the ball. Just look at the confusion on his face afterwards

"I disagree, if the keeper truly knew that the ball was no longer in play, its rather easy to pull something like that off since you don`t care. (I`m a forward and I could do that easy)."

You could do it better if you took your head out of your own ass.

-Play had stopped when he made that save. If you look carefully you can see an offside England player (white shirts for y`all from the US of A) when the ball is kicked. Once the save has been made and the camera pans back you can see the referee holding his arm up to signal offside. Also, all of the players were retreating from the goal rather than following up the ball for a rebound.

At the time, the big debate was whether the goalie knew that play had stopped. I reckon he did because he would have seen the way all the players backed off ready for a goal kick.-

tch. yeah.

However, if the keeper really thought the ball was in play, he`s a dumb*ss for trying that in such an important match.

Thanks for pointing that out Mossoi, I`ve always wondered about this play.

No matter how old it is,its a brilliant save,it doesnt matter if england were offside or not it takes a lot of skill to make a save like dat,its a classic and will be played over and over again
