Awesome...

Some great graphics there. Almost life-like.

You can`t do that sorta stuff with anyone but Nintendo characters.

I pretty sure that if we didnt have the cheering audience, it would have looked a lot dulled. It kinda the same reasons sitcoms use canned laughter. If the audience laughs, cries, etc. the veiwers will feel more compelled to do it.

i thought it was kind of boring watching it go on for ever and i can`t believe they spent tons and tons of time making all those detailed props for that and rehearsing it. Must have taken hours for something that wsn`t very entertaining to watch. Amusing... but not highly. And yes, I played that game quite often as a child and grew up with it.

Just seems kind of pointless to spend allt hat time on that.

Also, i thoguht the audience made it better. I like it when people are enthusiasic.

Amazing, really creative, even if it wasnt that well done it was still good, even with the annoying screaming crowd to spoil it.

Hehe, that was cute. :) They had some technical difficulties synching music and sound (especially the correct sounds), but overall, that was a cute idea, and they did a great job.

Well not terrible. A good concept based on a concept that actually works, but just not enacted as well as it could be. Being able to see all the people moving stuff past so clearly made it a bit lower in my views than it could have been.

So yeah. Nice concept, but could be better if they want to be as good as the real thing.

Male 2,216
I thought it was terrible actually, it was blatantly trying to copy the massively successful stuff by Japan`s "Masquerade" such as the Ping Pong players and the Karate Class.

I`m like jagger04. I`m 14 and I still have my old NES. I haven`t played it in a couple of years, but I still have it and some old games. I`ve got zelda, the original mario brothers, marble madness, super C, and I think I had a game called tiger heli.

i am 15 and a freshman in high school, but i still remember my NES.. but i never did beat super mario brothers.. now i want another NES

anyways, i thought the video was great.. you can obviously tell there are people in black suits, but i think that adds to the greatness

I still have my old NES in working condition with the original SMB game; first console I ever owned. They were around for a while after the 80s, so I am sure that younger kids would have played them too, rhenretta.

The clip was cool, very creative. But the sound crew sucked. The audience was a little distracting, but that`s understandable.

Male 2,958
as far as the clip. seemed like things started getting messed up around the end...seemed like the audio got ahead of them by the time the star came. And to repeat a previous post:

Where the hell is the fireworks? As soon as I saw the flag I thought "They`ll probably play the fireworks on that screen above them" only to be met with dissapointment.

-I`ve never seen white-overalls Mario! Was that a special power-up or something? Very cool!-

...you never played Super Mario Bros. have you?

-What do these kids know about Super Mario Brothers? The only SMB they have ever known is maybe a nostalgic cartridge on the Super Nintendo-

These guys have to be at least in upper highschool. That being said, I`m 17. When I was 3 until I was 6 I had a nintendo, all I played was SMB/Duck Hunt and metroid. And most every mario platformer is great, don`t get mad because you can`t change with the times.

Wow. Someone is trying to say that people from Europe don`t cheer now? Obviously it wasn`t planned to be filmed, or at least it looks that way to me. Of course people are going to drating cheer, especially since the guy playing Mario was actually trying to pump them up.

And rhenretta, who are you talking about? The people in the live action or the people commenting on this. Because I know plenty of 17 year olds that had the original NES.

I would be cheering out of excitement too. Don`t bash them. The video was great, but without the audience, it wouldn`t have happened.

I`ve never seen white-overalls Mario! Was that a special power-up or something? Very cool!

To all the people ragging on the loud audience, it was a college talent show or pep rally from the looks of it and Mario was playing it up to the audience! Plus, after seeing non-Americans at a football (soccer) match, no one on here has room to bitch about audience behavior!
