You have to pass a mild intelligence test to get it to go off (thus waking you up).

I disagree, I think this would work a lot better. I`ve tried the alarm clock across the room thing, and I just get right back in bed after hitting the snooze. Actually having to do something would probably help me wake up.

Pretty neat idea. But I would probably end up duct taping the stupid thing and defeating the purpose.

Interesting idea. Putting an alarm clock on the other side of the room works just as well, though. That way, you have to actually get out of bed to turn it off.

The point isn`t that the puzzle is hard. The point is that you have to go, "Wha? Huh? Urg..." and put it back together, rather than slamming a button. It would require you to keep your eyes open for like thirty seconds, rather than just hitting a button. See? `course, you could achieve the desired effect by putting your alarm clock across the room.

All the pieces are exactly the same. It`d take like a second to do.

I need that thing.

It is pretty amazing how ingenious people can be when an extra few minutes of sleep is threatened. Somehow I`m always able to convince myself that it would be harmful to my health to get up while I`m still tired.

They should have little strings thats connect the pieces to the clock without makeing the puzzle any easier, like to the sides. But i definatly need that. I hit the snooze at least 8 times, No joke

that sucks, id lose a piece and not be able to solve it, throw it at the wall or take out the batteries. i just put my alarm clock on the other side of the room so i have to get up to turn it off

Like in the comments on the page. Think about it people. If you are so asleep that you can`t stop to think, and instead you look for that one piece, maybe you shouldn`t get up.

Powercord: YANK. Problem solved.

My alarm clock is across my room so I have to get up to turn it off. Though there is times when I turn it off, walk back to my bed and go to sleep.

That thing must be dangerous... think about it, the puzzle pieces pop up into the air. I`m sure I would wake up if I got hit in the eye!

i dont think i would be able to complete that when i`ve just woken up- i have broken my current alarm clock 4 times already just trying to find the off-switch (it sticks back together surprisingly well)

It would be better if it played the Numa Numa song. Man, if it played that, i`d be in a desperate rush to solve the puzzle :-P

I see so many design flaws, like what happens if you lose a puzzle piece and cannot turn off the alarm? Or when you become so used ot the puzzle you can do it without thinking?

I would buy that. Too many times I`ve reached over for my alarm, hit the power button swearing I would get up, and then slept away.
