I currently have 201gold. 50silver. 14copper.& nothing to spend it on. I wish that were the case in real life!
"Ha crocalisk, I just slapped your mother!"
"You aren`t a very Pretty Princess!"
"I just wasted my life and didn`t pay attention to the ending."
BTW, the wizard at the end gets harder the higher level you are when you face him.
For websites, that means making your site able to automatically adapt to the viewer`s resolution. For Flash, that usually means catering to the 640 x 480 crowd, just to be safe.
i agree with you janus_games, it was very impersonal, but if it was made to a console, im sure not only would they pretty it up, they would also create a more developed story line. warcraft could make some major mulah if they ever went console like sims did.
Man I want to play the next one. :T
...you realize `drat` is IAB`s censor for f*ck, not new `lingo`, right?
This game`s formulaic nature would wear on the nerves if placed on a console. The weak storyline isn`t even prettied up. You`re only going someplace because someone told you to go:
[loop begin] help me ... [helped] go see next NPC now [repeat loop]
I`m sure you`ll say, "Well all RPGs are that way," and on a certain level you`re right.
However, most storylines hint that you`ll find out more story if you move to the next place. You`ll be closer to obtaining some larger goal.
With this game it`s `Great, thanks for the stuff. Go see Billy Bob over there, he`ll send you out for takeout`.
The actions you take don`t advance a plot, they just change situational data. The NPCs don`t have personalities, they have grocery lists.
It`s all very impersonal. Sti
this rpg became known because it was linked from WOW`s front page.
so not only do blizz approve of this rpg they are supporting it more than any other flash game on the web(they never ever linked a flash game on wow`s front page, ever).
The ezest way to beet the mage is to get up to adrinalin rush and pummel. All you gotta do is use pummel then use adrinalin rush then repeat pummel and normal attack over and over (I beet him at lvl 10 using this w/o getting attacked and w/o items ( he can only use magic attacks)). p.s. I ment you can beet him at lvl 9
and yes, gameplay leads you to lvl 10 against the mage. the only problem i had with him was the fact that i would get him down to 10 health and then he would use heal. his "energy" level never decreased no matter how much magic he used. i didnt like that.
and mikk, if you are going to try to use a new lingo, use it correctly. its dratsab (read it backwards) or drater. you really have to be a drater.
GRAPHICS:Yes, the graphics ARE ripped out of WoW. However, many home-grown RPGs have done the same.
More importantly they`re doing an excellent job of taking the graphics from a 3D engine ripping them and placing them in a 2D engine and getting them to run smooth in flash. The rips were well done. Good Job.
STORY:I had a couple of problems here, but mainly because I`m tired of quests where I`m somebody`s gofer. However, as this is a WoW themed game, at least they didn`t break character. **SIGH**
COMBAT:Combat system was ok, simple interface =D, I`m surprised some people could beat the wiz on lvl 8. Natural flow of the game brought me to the mage at lvl 10. Progression through the game was good without too much need to lvl up.
TECHNICAL:Don`t like the way they used space to initiate conversation but not parse through it. Convos would start/restart.
Quite a few memory leaks. This is perhaps my biggest prob w/it.
