I think Skaskaskaska is right- there need to be more men and women who feel that way.

That said, Silver morn is wayyyyy too young to hate men with such ferocity :-). I agree with some of it but I would not be happy if ANYONE was raped. That`s not cool. Anyone who HAS been raped will be offended by this statement. And one can not look at men and judge without judging women too. How about we leaving the judging to someon else...

Also, Natalie Portman shaved her head for V for Vendetta- not fashion sense.

And it is all well and good for men to look at girls when they go by- girls look at men too. It can be offensive though and inappropriate at times (i.e. your wedding)...LOL.

I think any woman`s hairsyle that exposes the neck wins. But when you get liberal use of the buzzers; too far! Natalie Portman`s boyish doo atm is a good example.

And yes, most men are going to look when the girl in the baby tee and low riders walks by. Most of us are not going to hit on/stalk/rape that girl. We just want an eyefull. Most men with half a clue realize it takes more than a good chest to make a relationship, so its not threat to our current wives/girlfriends. But most of us still appreciatte a good chest!

shoulder length isnt bad at all... its when its short short... ellen short... if i saw angie jolie (who has lost way too much weight >.<) with an ellen hairstyle.... she instantly (at least for me) becomes less attractive.. dont know what it is..just something about long hair screams female.

When I cut my hair to shoulder length, (and my b/f did like it long) he got wildly aroused when he first saw me. I believe the term "fastest, hardest boner ever" was used. But maybe just because it was a new look for him to admire. I could understand if guys don`t like REALLY short hair, but is it that big of a deal if a girl takes a few inches off?

well, the way is see it, is the following AND I THINK WOMEN SHOULD TOO!

in a relationship you love eachother, have sex, all the stuff, BUT your world won`t start to spin around the other. i live my life, and you can`t command me on how i should live, even if you`re my girlfriend. of course there`s advising and all, but not commanding (this also goes the other way)

If you truly love someone, they should be your top priority. Not beer. Not sports. Ok, last post. -runs-

I think I`ll return to the corner of the Internet where most people are reasonable and not nearly as sexist. I`m f*cking sick of all this crap. It`s gotten to the point where I`m practically happy to hear about a man getting raped. I know it`s sick, but I can`t control what I feel.

Needless to say, things would be different if men would stop being so sexist.

I guess there`s always that theory that all human males will die out in about 125,000 years. I won`t be there to see it but...there probably wouldn`t be nearly as much rape, drugs, murder, or violence.

--
If you men would stop being sexist jerks, I wouldn`t be this angry and I`d have no reason to retaliate. Everywhere I turn, there`s rape, sexual assault, unfair treatment of women at work, school, etc. There`s degradation of women in the media with those rapping non-nice individuals. And these rules and comments really don`t make me feel any better.

for supposedly telling you what you think women are, and here YOU are telling me what I think women should be. I`m with IceErines on this one - it should be about equality. [fact is the sexes will not now, nor will they ever be equal..thats just natural law]

you see women, when in a relationship, like to be considered the center of the mans universe. this is not true. never has been. quit trying to make urself seem more important than you are. it makes u seem like an ass. the problem is you want the best of both worlds. you wanna move in on male turf yet continue being treated like a woman. it doesnt work that way outside of the tv set. majority of career girls can say goodbye to a nuclear family and chivalry. u signed up for man land so suck it up :) sorry to burst your delicate little bubble :\

I read this and the female one that just came out and I almost barfed from my jubilation. How great it is to stereo-type BOTH male and females! How nice it is to place a generalization on an entire sex. Grow up- we`re adults here or will be one day...Thinking like this is the reason sexism (towards male or female) still exist. And- I do not have an `I am a princess` mentality. I have an `I have a brain` mentality. I will cut my hair however short I want it. I will ask whatever stupid question I want to ask. I will basically be ME. I expect that from anyone I date as well. I don`t want them to censor themselves in fear of being labeled by their gender. It`s bullsh*t to think anything on those lists can be used as a over view of an entire sex. Other then that- it was slightly amusing but mostly p*ssed me off.

Neither does my problem. If you think women are a certain way, I really don`t care.

"as for calling her a bitch...i did no such thing."
Now that was uncalled for. You certainly did, or atleast implied it:
"maybe its time u looked deep inside of urself and said "hey, maybe im just an uptight bytch "
By that it`s obvious you`re implying that you believe she is a bitch. Or bytch.

" my response was based on her attack towards men. when you spell it out, this is what she says.... "the men that agree with this list cant get dates because of their preferences"
I agree with you there. It wasn`t fair of her too assume that the men who agree with this article cannot get dates. But it was just as unfair of you to assume that she has the `i`m a princess` mentality.

Well, maybe the overwhelming majority of men are simply bastards who like to make double standards and stereotype both genders.

Furthermore, if you`re implying that older men are always smarter than younger women, you are sadly mistaken.

Lastly, some proper punctuation really wouldn`t hurt. If you`re really "20-something", I`m surprised you passed grade school.

"Sunday = sports. It’s like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be."

Both my boyfriend and I have very little respect for many sports, including football. It`s just like a bunch of sweaty men jumping on top of each other. It`s highly dangerous and pointless, as well. But I suppose that men just cannot live without proving their "masculinity" through losing irreplaceable brain cells.

"Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That’s what we do. Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for."

Every man should learn how be sympathetic in addition to being good problem solvers. If you`re 100% logical and 0% emotional, I can replace you with a computer. It would probably be more useful anyway. x)

"The relationship is never going to be like it was the first two months we were going out. Get over it. And quit whining to your girlfriends."

If my partner is not respecting me like he did two months ago, I have every right to expect him to be more respectful.

"ALL men see in only 16 colors, like Windows default settings. Peach, for example, is a fruit, not a color. Pumpkin is also a fruit. We have no idea what mauve is."

Stop stereotyping women. I happen to have no idea what "mauve" is either. x__x

"Don’t ask us what we’re thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss such topics as navel lint, the shotgun formation, or monster trucks."

Now you`re being stereotypical towards your own gender. Way to go. My boyfriend happens to think about a lot more than "navel lint".

"BEER is as exciting for us as handbags are for you."

And again, this is simply another male stereotype. My boyfriend has

"You can either ask us to do something or tell us how you want it done. Not both. If you already know best how to do it, just do it yourself."

We can and we will. If it`s my partner`s responsibility to wash the dishes, and he`s not doing it properly (thus leaving disgustingly large pieces of food on the plates), I have every right to tell him how to do it properly AND expect him to do it.

"Whenever possible, please say whatever you have to say during commercials."

Men should learn that the TV and sports are not more important than what your partner has to say. Don`t treat us like we`re not your top priority.

"Christopher Columbus did not need directions, and neither do we."

Bullpoo. =) Have some common sense: asking for directions when you have no idea is a smart thing, not a way of revealing weaknesses. And Christopher Columbus ended up in the wrong country anyway. O_o

"If you think you’re fat, you probably are. Don’t ask us. We’ve been tricked before!!"

Some girls need reassurance. I don`t see anything wrong with that.

"If something we said can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, we meant the other one."

A solid relationship should not and cannot be built on a foundation of lies. =)

"Let us ogle. We are going to look anyway; it’s genetic."

So is having the urge to have sex with any relatively attractive woman. Know what that`s called? Rape. And in some states, they`ll literally cut off your genitals for rape. I don`t care if it`s genetic; learn to control yourselves. Men already have a bad reputation of being over-sexed (and for good reason). Not learning to control yourself will only reinforce that stereotype.

Stop making double standards. Why don`t men keep their hair long, clean, and shiny? Don`t expect us to if you don`t!

"Don’t cut your hair. Ever. Long hair is always more attractive than short hair. One of the big reasons guys fear getting married is that married women always cut their hair, and by then you’re stuck with her."

How stereotypical of men. So shallow. -___- If you fear marrying someone because of the length of their hair, not the depth (or lack, thereof), of their personality, you have a serious problem.

"Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question."

Example:
Woman: "So, honey, when is the doctor`s appointment?"

Man: "No."

Woman: "What are you talking about?"

Man: "Yes."

Woman: "Please tell me what`s going on."

Man: "Maybe."

Women with shorter hair look older.

Go anywhere, take a look around. As a woman`s age increases, her hair length decreases.

Long hair is definitely a PITA to take care of, but it looks so much better!

Well there is obviously an immense difference between what you think women are and what they really are. I understand that the majority men do agree to this article, but all that I wanted to point out was that you were too quick to call her a bitch and assume she had the `princess` mentality after she had only stated that she was offended.

off topic but agreed,

and yes short hair is a turn off it pises me off. and women will be thinking "how come we never knew about this before?" well that`s because you women thought yall were so hot and in style when you cut your hair that we dared not say anything because we don`t want to hear the complaining, fussing, moaning, and whining. i can write a book on turn-offs.

and if you say short hair is sexy then you are gay. If you suck up to women you are gay. if you defend them and post stuff like " this is absurd these rules are stupid, and i`m a guy" then you are not really a guy, but a fag instead.

the end.

Of course short hair is a turn off, i thought women knew this. I personally like, If you won’t dress like the Victoria’s Secret girls, don’t expect us to act like soap opera guys.

if you are male and you type in internet types, using leetspeak or "lol" overabundantly, your genitals will fall off.

Wow, I guess having all male friends pays off. I already knew most of those "rules" and keep them in mind when dealing w/ my boyfriend. He must know the female "rules" too, otherwise i suspect we would have gone down in flames a while ago. They are still funny to read though.

Some of those are true. I whole heartedly agree with the toilet one. Since when did some women become gimps, unable to lift toilet seats?

Its okay, kinda put girls into one big stereotype though which i dont like :-P Though, i must agee with "Birthdays, Valentines, and Anniversaries are not considered by us to be opportunities to see if we can find the perfect present . . . . again!"...most of my male friends mentality of presents is the cheapest thing possible, but still present-worthy :-P
