South Park makes fun of every single race and religion but they went WAY too far for Issac Hayes when they start talking about scientology? C`mon

I just saw the episode that aired tonight and if you watch it carefully it pretty much clears everything up. Not exactly a nice resolution, but at least we know where everybody stands.

-Crazy cult! I just made a search over this Scientology Crapy Cult, because of the Isaak Hayes thing and the stoping of the retransmition of the South Park chapter that makes fun of it; It is actually truth that this cult believe in aliens an a lot of Crazy Sh it talking about an over lord called "Xenu". And they believe that the human bodies are full with alien spirits and a lot of carzy poo like that! How pathetic tom Cruise or any other actor or people have to be to fall for that crazy Shi t!!!!??? STUPID!-

Yeah...all true. But it`s the only cul-- religion that you get brownie points in for spending loads of cash instead of being a morally acceptable person . If I was rich I`d say I believed in it, too.

I guess his `stroke` is what caused him to say, and I quote:

"I cannot continue to portray such intolerance and bigotry."

Isaac sucks

it`s just one of those hollywood things, remember when kabala was the big thing, like a week ago. scientology is a little more entertaining though, I must admit.

funny how no one said anything about him having a stroke until after people called him hypocritical.
if he did have a stroke and it is the reason he quit, that`s unfortunate.
but if he quit because the show made fun of his religion, well...scientology is unfortunate, as well.

of course you quit if youve had a stroke, it can completly destroy the way you talk.

Strokes can do all sorts of damage.

MikePiano... Its the fact that he quit, supposidly, because they insulted his way of life yet it was cool all the years before that when he made fun of Jews, Christians and everything else. He is a hypocrit if that is, indeed the reason he quit and that is why its a "big deal".

Oh and Also you have to look at the Author of this article, He is just one voice who is speking for a bunch of people he will not mention (My Source, a Friend of Mr. Hayes.. Blah Blah Blah). The article only states he had a stroke, and still does not give an answer for his reason for quiting. You may want to read the article again and use a little more of the comprehensive reading skills we all were taught in the third grade rederon. before you post a link to a bogus article.

Sorry to say this Rederon but nowhere in that Article did it say he quite the show because he had a stroke, So as of right now until Mr. Hayes Speaks up for himself in a statement, in no way can you believe any other story other than what his PR reps have already stated.

Issac Hayes didn`t really quit because of Scientology. He had a stroke.

I`m sure the South Park guys have -plenty- of previously recorded tape of Isaac Hayes that they can use for future episodes. Just splice it together.

I`m going to miss chef, but IMHO I think that he is whiny and deserves any ripping he gets from South Park. Also, Scientology is MADE to make fun of! A whole bunch of mega-stars following a `religion` made up by a mediocre Science Fiction writer? Come on!

Also, could Tom Cruise BE a bigger idiot? I hate him so much!

awww, I think that Issac Hayes made a big mistake leaving South Park. He was fine making fun of Christianity and Jews so all of a sudden it makes fun of him and he goes OTT and quits.
What a stupid and spiteful thing to do.

I agree with Overclock3d, Chef`s role as a character was to be a "sage" character that the kids were supposed to talk to and get advice, which would usually be vague enough to have them make the wrong assumptions and go in the wrong direction. Some of his songs were funny though, although they would only play about 30 seconds of them, so it was easy enough to be humorous.

^ Maybe he won`t speak at all...

Screw him though. They make fun of everything under the sun, and Isaac Hayes cashed his pay check fully aware of all that. And only when they hit on Scientology (which is a funny "religion" to begin with) he whines & walks away.
They frigging brought his career back from the dead. Ungrateful arse. Go make man-babies with little Tommy Cruise.
