Yeah, that link wasn`t even trying to be funny. It was too matter-of-fact. And it really wasn`t all that witty, either.

xtopherxaos wtf are you talking about? I seriously hope you aren`t serious....

Anyway, I actually quite agreed with each point on the list. I feel that at a time like this it is important to be exercising our freedom of speech and even if it is Bush-bashing, that`s our right. If you don`t like hearing it, don`t pay attention.

Now, I`m going to return to trying to learn the words to "When the President Talks to God" by Bright Eyes. Google it and listen, it`s pretty...um...honest. :)

...clinton allowed one of his interns to give him oral sex in his office and then lied about it...i`d say that deserves a good bit of bashing, considering he was the overseer of our nation.
and if all of you losers think you can do so much better than Bush...why don`t you try being the leader of 298,000,000 people and making decisions about nuclear weapons and the wellfare of the people...you might find it`s a little hard to please everyone when there are that many citizens involved.

Saying that Bush is bashed more than any president shows you can`t even remember as far back as Clinton, who was bashed every bit as much if not more.

Didn`t take long for the conservative humor patrol to start whining about this one too, huh?
"Oh my god, a humorous link bashing our president, whatever will I do? *cries*"

Actually, Indigo, Lincoln was bashed as much as or more than Bush has been (though not over the internet, I`ll give Bush that). People were bound to complain about and poke fun at the gawky, self-educated president from Illinois during a time of national crisis, especially when they didn`t like his policies of taking away the writ of habeas corpus and enforcing border state loyalty through martial law.

Sorry to be a history nerd, but I`m going to say that every president has gotten bashed about the same amount. Remember Clinton? Remember Reagan`s "Star Wars" plan? What about Carter`s failed attempt to rescue the Iranian hostages? And so on...

Re: "Will this Bush-bashing fad ever go away?"

As soon as he`s not president. It`s a grand tradition of America over the centuries to poke fun at the sitting president, whoever he is. Reminds us of our freedom.

I would love to vote for a third party if it is better than the Republican and Democratic parties, but the problem is the third parties never win. I agree with most of the core conservative/Republican philosophy, but the Republicans are turning into a bunch of sissies. They need to fight back politically, but at the moment, they seem more concerned about being popular with the media than standing up for the truth.

Yet no one ever sees there is a third party.

You don`t have to stick to a two party system, especially with the selection.

But the population won`t notice so who cares if hoardes of people die! It`s all fun and games!

As soon as America is taken from the spot light and the next super power steps in, you`re gonna find out that you will be "enemies of Allah" and then it will be our turn to point and laugh, and I wonder if "your" countries and "your" leaders would do any better.
Can anyone say "thirty five hour work week" as a testiment to EU genius

I can`t wait for the next president to step on the stand take his oath of office, snap his fingers and say to the world " It`s okay everyone, Bush is gone, now the whole world just got better."
You are all morons to believe that the problem of this country let alone the world is Bushs` fault.
What about almost all of Europe selling weapons, and other equipment to the middle east?
What about all the money Europe had invested into the middle east?
Money that was being used for guess what? More ways to kill every non-muslim in the world.
America is not that great.
But when the tide of power swings, as it must.
The rest of you "holier then thou" freaks will find out maybe to your astonishment that you and your country aint so hot either.

Well, this was quite a childish link. Will this Bush-bashing fad ever go away? It`s old and stupid. Tambourine33, Bush did not cheat. Kerry did not cheat. Gore did not cheat, though the Florida Supreme Court and the media tried to cheat for him.

Love, hate, or freaking hate Bush, just think for a moment. Looking back now, do you really think Gore or Kerry should have won? What do you think they would have done in the war on terror? I think Kerry would have sought permission from the UN before deploying our armed forces and Gore would have done absolutely nothing except call the terrorists "freedom fighters" and apologize to them for existing.

By the way, foreigners, if you want to comment about American politics, learn something about it beforehand instead of regurgitating whatever your newspaper columnists tell you.

I think the world would be better off without politics. But don`t mind me, I`m just a little kid whose opinion has no value whatsoever

thank you jcrone although you didn`t have to put it in such a derogatory manner, your point is well taken. I am a supporter of Bush and I respect you if you arent. What I dont respect is people who bash bush on messege boards getting a false sense of self-worth from it. If you see a problem, go out and do something about it. Don`t just sit here on your computer like a freakin` idiot and complain. You guys suck.

i didn`t vote for this moron either. and i know, that i have no right to complain, since i didn`t vote at all. i used to vote, until i realized that it doesn`t really matter who we vote for, these are all men teetering on middle age, that have huge incomes and basically the same morals. so whats the point. you could vote based on the size of his nose and the turnout would be the same.
