Anyway, I actually quite agreed with each point on the list. I feel that at a time like this it is important to be exercising our freedom of speech and even if it is Bush-bashing, that`s our right. If you don`t like hearing it, don`t pay attention.
Now, I`m going to return to trying to learn the words to "When the President Talks to God" by Bright Eyes. Google it and listen, it`s pretty...um...honest. :)
oh and for the idiots who think Bush is uneducated, he has degrees from both Harvard and Yale, I`d like to see you do that.
Sorry to be a history nerd, but I`m going to say that every president has gotten bashed about the same amount. Remember Clinton? Remember Reagan`s "Star Wars" plan? What about Carter`s failed attempt to rescue the Iranian hostages? And so on...
As soon as he`s not president. It`s a grand tradition of America over the centuries to poke fun at the sitting president, whoever he is. Reminds us of our freedom.
You don`t have to stick to a two party system, especially with the selection.
But the population won`t notice so who cares if hoardes of people die! It`s all fun and games!
and you people are so strange, doing things like voting...
Love, hate, or freaking hate Bush, just think for a moment. Looking back now, do you really think Gore or Kerry should have won? What do you think they would have done in the war on terror? I think Kerry would have sought permission from the UN before deploying our armed forces and Gore would have done absolutely nothing except call the terrorists "freedom fighters" and apologize to them for existing.
By the way, foreigners, if you want to comment about American politics, learn something about it beforehand instead of regurgitating whatever your newspaper columnists tell you.
And blue18 the Americans didn`t elect him, He cheated...twice.
