I`m not sure if most of the people are grasping the artistic side of this, I`m not so sure it`s "No matter how different you think you look theres always x amount of people who look like you". I think that it`s trying to show the physical variation in social similarity... Then again that`s just my interpretation. I think this is a great link :-D.

the skaters are gangsta here. in the united states, skaters are more emo/scene/punk boys. fun fun.
interesting to see what other people think social groups are like.

It had a nice message, but would it hurt if it was better organized?

Wow an NSFW would have REALLY been nice. Especially since my office is FULL of CHILDREN while I`m surfing! (too loud to work, may as well surf. Until I came across pics of topless women!)

Mind you, I have nothing against topless women. But I do have something against losing my job b/c some asshat doesn`t mention the NSFW

^This is the worst art work ever then, but I agree all the people that try to be "different" are actually joining/copying some group...I just wear/dress in whatever happens to be washed and clean lol...no "certain" way to look as far as I`m concerned.

23. Dreads - Rotterdam 1998 <--- Topless "Artwork" LOL...funny

I think this is a really brilliant piece of art work and displays general society and what "trends" people have fallen into these days. People moan about indiviuality and make extreme efforts to be different, but this represents how its pretty impossible with 6 billion other people floating around.

I do NOT get this!!! There`s like 1000 small people on my screen. Whoever designed this did a terrible job.

Proof that no matter what you wear there are at least 11 other people who look just like you.

what the hell are gabberbitches? and the bejing rockers are something else...

i think this needs updating. and there also needs to be a whole different section dedicated to teenagers.

i think people would put me in a different group each day if it was just depending on that i wear. i would be either indie/hippy/rock/prep/geek. how can i be all of those? i am just me.

The best is to be a bit of everything. It tends to confuse people. Confused people are funny.

That`s why I like to poke fun at metalheads, synthers, goths and other "alternative" people (you know who you are ;-)), they`re just as much trend slaves as any California partygirl. They HATE when I tell them that.

You`re not original! You`re not special!

That`s the message. It`s true of course.

Each group is repeated 4 or 5 times? Why?

Still cool... although not the terminology I would have used...

I didn`t quite get it, but when I clicked on the "skins" (skinheads) I almost had a heart attack because that is exactly, EXACTLY my husband`s favorite outfit. Suspenders and all. Really strange. Now I guess I`ll go look for my social group`s style lol.

I remember this project very well. This Dutch photographer pointed out in a funny way that almost all people in Holland belong to a group, sometimes without them even knowing it.
