This is too simple!!! I read a 1000 pages book about this and i can say that I understand this since my birth. I`m a genious. My QI is 168 ( the average QI is 120 ), I`m a frenchman from Quebec. Albert Einstein is my idol... If you don`t understand that, you`re stupid...

"He was wrong about much of his ideas now! Specifically the space and time idea and that nothing is fast than light. So the rest of his ideas kinda go south from those. Good ideas but wrong."

WTF? So what`s replaced it and how come such an immense discovery hasn`t made the news?
BTW, being a bit pedantic, an above poster said Einsteins only mistake was not predicting Black Holes. When he devised his equations they said that the Universe should be either contracting or expanding, and he didn`t believe the maths, so he re-wrote the equations by adding the `Cosmological Constant` so the universe came out as static.. When the Universe was proved by Hubble (the man not the telescope!) to be expanding, he called it `My biggest Blunder`... I`ll get me coat...

Wow, are you throwing insults at avatars now?

Let`s just stop now. This has certainly gone on long enough.

Hooray for Einstein.

spelling has little to do with theoretical physics, there are plenty of great scientific contributors that were terrible spellers. I admit it`s a fault but it`s not somthing the often hinders me. It bother me that any time anything is posted on here people immideatly jump on saying "oh thats so simple" or "I could do that no problem" as if anyone cares what some inch high picture is theoreticaly capeable of. I get einstein`s more basic theories, as do many people, but that is such a small part of what he did, his theoryes on relitivity are not easy and people spend years in college, getting Ph. D.s just trying to understand it all. I`m not even studying science, I`m a philosophy major, it just makes me so angery that the second greatest scientist in history dosn`t get acknowledgment. Because that means intelligence dosn`t matter and skill dosn`t matter, what matters is peniu s size and what happened on desperate housewives last night. evident by shizzasters avitar,

exactly^.
a lot of his formulas are NOT hard to grasp and he`s just jealous because he got kicked out of highschool and refuses to believe other people ACTUALLY understand this. people YOUNGER than him.

Excuse me. I`m sorry I don`t think it`s right that you can chastise people about whether or not they understand something when you won`t even get something as simple as "Einstein" correct.

Seriously, I also have a problem with people putting on airs about how smart they are, but what do you say? It`s not like they`re going to listen anyway.

Hey I never claimed to be a good speller, I`m just sick of people thinkin there so hot. I`m not pretentious, So f uck you my friend. if I thought I was all that I probably would spend a few seconds in a spell check don`t ya think. it`s just stupid that most of the people who think it`s all "so easy I learned it all in highschool" are in the 13-17 range, it`s all bull.

^ Wow, kungfu_sage. You must be so smart you don`t even HAVE to spell correctly!
FYI:
Einstein, not Einstine
Equations, not equasions
Relativity, not relitivity
Particles, not particals

You pretentious snob.

oh and kenderwall, no one has ever disproved einstein, they have not discovered any particals that go faster than light, all they have done is discovered a loop hole in einstiens equasions that allow for faster than light particals, the only thing he was wrong about was the existance of black holes, which he said didn`t exist, but that was only after makeing the claim that they did. so stop trying to look all smart your not, none of you are einstien, none of you ever will be.

all you self gratifiers, einstine is not easy to get, "oh I learned this when I was 5 years old, it`s sooo simple" give me a break. First of all even if the concepts are graspable, there are very few people who can really understand einstiens equasions, and even still people are learning things they had never thought of by returning to einstiens old equeasions. Second of all in contrary to what the video said, einstien was not wroking alone, many belive his wife contributed a great deal to the theory, some say it was hers to begin with. special relitivity is relitively simple I supose, but it`s general relitivity thats the kick in the pants, and thats the one that has the major ramifications to our universe and our world, for instance, the atom bomb

i saw a video in physics about parallel universes called "the elegant universe" or something... really mind-blowing stuff but i find it hard to accept that there may be other versions of me lol.

I remember back in like... 2nd grade or somthing, our class did a "wax museum" where we would learn about some famous person, and then develope a 2 minute speech about them. Then we would dress up as the person, all og in the gym, and perform our speech when our teacher rang this bell thing, then stop when she rang it again. Guess who I was! Albert Einsteoin! Yup. I had this moustache thing that I could move around by moving my lip, it was hilarious.

Good times man, good times.

This is awesome, so interesting. They only scratch the surface with that. You should watch shows made by Super Nova on Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Physics, it gets so incredibly intense, in detail and subatomic size, supposedly, at Subatomic Leve, there would be about 11 dimensions instead of 4 (Time, Height, Depth and side to side) which is pretty freaky. Example f what could happen with Eleven dimensions, YOu pour yourself a glass of milk, but as the milk leaves the spout, instead of going down, it goes to the right then up to hit you in the face, It is so agitated down in that size it`s insane. THey talk about Parralel universes, and how our Universe might be like a slice of bread in a whole loaf of Universes, and how it bends over, and trying to find to rip Wormholes into the space beyong the Universe to travel to other places. JUST AMAZING, so incredible, yet super freaky.

I find it interesting. Im no physicist but I do get some of the fundamental principles. Pick up one of Stephen Hawkings books, "Brief history of time or "Black holes and baby universes" and it will give you the basics.

For the people who think they `learned` all this stuff in highschool and college. Einstein had already DEVISED the quantum theory/quantum mechanics at 16 years of age. How many of you can say you were able to shatter the scientific world by changing a preconcieved thought about gravity and everything inbetween?

Don`t be such pretentious little pricks.

I didn`t watch it, but if you just have an open mind and read through it all, Einstein is not that hard to get. People just tend to over analyze and confuse themselves.

Einstein is not for dummies. You need some intelligence to accept the questions, let alone the answers.
