Everyone stop argueing: 1)He landed it because if he didn`t break fall he would of hurt himself real bad.

2) It`s Real

3) the building is roughly 20 feet. That`s pretty damn high.

"landed? no. he rolled the landing. Maybe on purpose, but he def didn`t land it.
Thats a wide angle lense, the building is about has half as tall as it looks."
from any hieght more than about 10 feet, its pretty much impossible to "land" a jump like that without injury. he did it on purpose because he knows what hes doing.now if he would have hit the ground ans stumbled, thats a different story. butthis guy did exactly what he was supposed to to end the jump, and therefore landed it.

for the record, jumping backwards off of a height is safer than a front sommi. you can see your landing much better and therfore are unlicky to under/over rotate and land on ur head. thus, looking super cool.

The guy lands it, just like a pro stuntman, and the jump was really nice no matter how you call it. That was some real ninja sh*t. But they do have some weird fish eye lens on the camera, the building is warped on the left end. Also, that was not 3 stories, I`m guessing he was like 22 feet up, which is 2 stories. Sweet clip of a badass jump.

farquaadhnch - i read your post, and my rant was not directed at you :) I will admit that there is something with the lense, but to be honest, i really do think that its to capture the entire thing without having to move too far away and make the guy look small. Maybe thats not the reason, but i honestly do not believe that a lense was used to make this look more impressive than it is. If this guy is good enough to do that, he doesnt need to manipulate his video to boost his ego. (that last comment was not directed at you either lol :) )

truckless,

There is something with the lens. I never said he didn`t do it, he`s amazing because I never could/would do that. I just think that the camera was messed up then, if there wasn`t some sort of lens on it because it looks distorted to me.

I saw this a long time ago. And yea he did land it. If he hadn`t rolled his legs would have been shisk ka bobbed by his bones. It`s an awsome looking jump though.

I 100% fully agree with heartagram86. No offense, really, but some of you are complete idiots. Why is it that almost everyone has to make some excuse as to why that guy or this guy couldnt have done that, because "I cant do it myself". For goodness sake. I dont usually have a rant but having seen various comments on different videos, this just topped it. I used to do this myself - i was never THAT good but i definitely knew the principles and the physics behind it, and let me tell you - if you dont roll when you land, you`re screwed. The whole point is that he increases the impact time, therefore reducing the force exherted on his body.

Dont say its a fisheye, dont say he sucks, go and bloody do it yourself and, if you dont believe in physics, DONT ROLL.

sigh *shakes head*

I think all of these people that do these tricks must have been suicidal at some point in there life, so they jumped off a 50 ft. building, landed safely, and thought "i finally have a talent" then did it again. just a theory

About 80% of the people who have posted here MUST have atleast some brain damage. He did land. If you look at his feet when they hit they ground, he probably could of stayed like that... HOWEVER, would you much kindly like to have your shins jutting out your flesh and your hips up by your ears? I assume no. Its breakfalling. You jump from up high, land, and roll. Loads of action movies use this, even in the films, not just off camera. I dare any one of you to jump off even a and a half story building, land squarely on your feet, ON FILM, and not have any pain what so ever without rolling.

It`s called landing a backflip and breakfalling that landing to distribute your weight out so you don`t crush your legs and shatter your feet on the impact.

"That looks for real to me. I`ve seen this trick done before, and it`s all about knowing how to dissipate force. That`s why he rolled when he touched the ground. If he didn`t, he`d have broken some of his favorite limbs and organs." i dont see why every stunt has some kind of phisics of something behind it it should just be that you jump off the building you land full stop. i ant dissing you or nothing but i am just saying. Nice stunt though

I agree that it is real, but they did do something that made the building appear taller. The guy *does* get bigger as he approaches the ground, not by much, but enough to make me think he used a lens like what spazpol said.

Still, this is something I could never pull off without breaking my neck and killing myself so kudos to this guy!

looks like someone just used a fisheye lens on the camera to distort size...

Umm...definitely not photoshopped, guy. Look up the Yamikazi and watch some of their videos or better yet, their movie. It`s amazing, simply amazing. And like Larian above me said, he meant to roll when he landed, I think he pulled the backflip and the landing off perfectly. If he didn`t roll when he landed, he definitely would have broken at least his foot or his ankle, possibly a leg or both, and he would have severely messed his back up. And the guy that said it`s camera angles to make the building look taller, if you notice, the height of the actual person doing the flip never changes, even after he lands and walks away, if they angles to make the building look taller, the guy doing the flip would get taller as he got closer to the camera. I believe this is a real, undoctored video. Kudos to that guy.

And for cruxshadows and ugotOWNED, "Landing" in this case means pulling it off and being able to walk away from it. I think he managed this admirably.

I don`t think he meant to land on his feet. That would hurt a lot. I think he rolled on purpose.

That building really doesnt look as tall as it is meant to seem. I think that through an array of camera and perspective techniques and tricks they were able to create a sort of illusion that the building is taller than it really is. But thats just my theory.
