I wish I had that kind of confidence. The only thing is that there was a lack of continuity. One moment he has no shirt (which totally kicks ass!) and then he`s wearing a shirt in the next frame? WTF? Especially when the two are competing, because then I can`t tell who`s winning: the shirts or the skins? If they just re-edited this, it`d be a great movie.

    /sarcasm

1 part athleticism + 1 part crazy = these guys.

I know i`ve seen this type of stuff before but I still say it takes practice to get this good, i`d like to be able to do the stuff these guys are doing, it makes running in a straight line seem VERY boring.

Very nice. While I`ve seen parkour before, this guy certainly knows what he`s doing. But most of all I actually like the video itself, from a film point of view.
Do guys like these work as stunt men for movies or something?

Here`s the thing to all you people who weren`t amazed by these guys ability (incidently, who on here can claim to do what they did?), I`d rather have kids focusing on gymnastics (which you basically have to know to do what they did) then selling drugs and getting into trouble.

Good coordination: video, music and moves.
These guys are russians and no. I don`t think they are stunt men. Most parts took place at an old military site and they seem to know this site. May be they are members of a military school. Sometimes they join at an age of 12.

urban gymnastics=parkour=urban running=a billion other ways to say it. It`s all the same, don`t be a jerk. Yes these videos are all over the internet. Why? Because it`s kinda neat to watch these crazy fellas jumpin around. I wish I had the ability to do some of that stuff. They`re not hurting anybody, besides themselves, or damaging property unlike other activities. I doubt there are lawsuits out there because these guys hurt themselves on someone`s ramp/railing/stairs/roof/whatever else. I`m no lawyer, but I`m not sure how well that would hold up in court anyway.

well, in american courts youd be surprised what kind of crap happens. have you heard of supresize me? this guy ate nothing mut mcdonalds for 30 days to prove that it makes you fat. this apparently helped somebody sue mcdonalds for taht same reason. now if i ate only pure butter for 30 days, and i get fat, could i sue? i sure hope not, but its exactly the same thing.

Ah yes, another example of Parkour at it`s finest. And those of you who are reminded of prince of persia, some of the princes moves are inspired greatly by Free Runners/Traceurs. Half of the development team for the game were based in France, where Parkour is most popular.

I love doing this sort of stuff, it gives me a real sense of freedom to go where I want. I wish that I lived in a more urban landscape however, everything here is a bit too flat to develop my skills as a traceur, but I have fun all the same. To save wasting space, i`ll just post another link of what sets the example of what a movie chase scene SHOULD be like. Screw the cars, all you need is a man with skills...

Hell yeah. I`ve seen a couple around. One of my old friends in Scotland does it, and shes probably better than me. She does live in a place thats virtually built for Traceurs though, flat rooves, slanted walls, small buildings, guardrails...theres enough Parkour material there to last a while.

Parkour, or free run is huge in parts of Europe and Canada. Sadly, there is not as big a "boom" in the US. <-I know something! Anyway, I am a free runner, but not as good as the Russian. Why did he have to take his shirt off again?
