I already have a secret entrance to my basement under the rug in my kitchen. All I need now is the pull a book spin a bookcase thingy and a picture with cut out eyes so I can spy on my guests, lol.

Lol.

Yeah, this would be awesome, possibly they don`t have any examples because no one actually has enough money or obsession to do this.

I`d love to flash something that to my buds...

I`d be like, hey, have you seen my hidden stash
I walk over the vase and turn it...vrmph...
"WOW!" that would be more entertaining then actually using it...

Michael Jackson had a secret "batcave" entrance in his closet. He also had an alarm which notified him if anyone was coming, other than himself of course... that ped arrest...

The gun thing looked like someone was pulling/pushing it up! It was too shaky for it to be electronic.

I agree with catlvr887 - the easiest place to hide a body is in the basement. Wait - did I say "body"?
I meant "room".
Body - heh heh heh. Of course I didn`t mean body. Why would I hide a body in the basement?

Did anybody see the slide in the chair? I think that would be really cool, but how would you get back up?

I agree with ajax1829. Everything seems so cheap. How can I trust a company who only has one "live" example of their work?

yeah, the examples are poor at best... I mean - Even the doors in Star Trek are operated by guys in the walls pulling strings, and they were fairly convincing way back then. Not that I`m saying it`s impossible to make an automatic secret bookshelf door, just what little we get to see could easily be done with string.

I have always wanted one of these, but I agree with ajax, it was extremely lacking in actual examples, though the idea is quite good...

^ Umm, but I`d love it, if it were real.

^^^ ajax: Yeah, that`s what I was thinking too. Pretty sketchy. And all the manipulating of "switches" without seeing a result... hey, I can twist crap all over my house too eh.

And the website was a little too slick... nice try i guess.

interesting, but even if I did have the money to burn on that sort of thing - I can`t really think of any room in my house that could be walled off for a secret entrance like that (and, y`know, not look obvious)... although there is that small space above the furnace; I s`pose one might be able to install a hidden safe.

seems to me this would work best installing a hidden room in a new house than an existing one. (or at least a house large enough that missing a chunk of the interior wouldn`t be as noticed.)

Except for 1 bookshelf (which could easliy be fake), does anyone else notice a lack of actual examples? It`s all just animations and video of people twisting vases and candlesticks.

My point being I`m not going to rush $10,000 to these guys.

If I had the money, I wouldn`t pay these guys to do it. See, I`d have a custom built house right from the start. Buy some land, and start with the bottom floor. Make some underground passages and build my own opening device. How hard could it be? I mean, it is like a garage door opener, only the button is a book that pushed. Or pulled. *Sigh* I can only dream of the day I become rich enough :(
