And FallenSoul, you have some skewed logic. No one should be should be *forced* to enlist ever, especially not as punishment for a crime. And to suggest it as an answer to homelessness, as if they were an inferior sort of people, is just ludicrous. What a removed person you must be to speak so dispassionately about those less fortunate.
As for the original topic, my Master Chief joined the navy through the military or jail program, after he stole a few cars and got caught. He retires next, after 24 years in. One of the smartest, most capable men i know. God knows how wrecked his life would have been had he simply been shoved off to some jail cell to rot.
Sure, not many turn around like that, but then, its worth it if even one does.
I keep thinking that if this war gets bigger, and they re-instate the compulsory joining, I`d just put on more weight and become too overweight to be eligible. I`d do anything to keep myself and those I love out of that bullshi*t.
Actually i think thats a good idea!imagine it-`wer ma drugs!!!!i dont know!!!bang lolI think that the military would a better and tougher punishment for him, give him some harsh discipline.
If you take offense, then burger off. :P It was a joke anyhow.
And maybe the army will straighted him out for good. Jail just makes a criminal worse.
