yakkitori, please get a life, no one cares if you`re the first person to post a reply, especially when you`re only doing it to claim "FIRST POST!¬!!!!!!1111" and arent actually saying anything.

Very neat idea. Could be used world wide for a various of things. I agree with you TokenBabe about underdevelped countries. Also could help out after natural disasters.

this was on dragons den, the people they were pitching their idea to didnt like it because it dosnt have any ends just two big holes no doors and also they said people wouldnt use it because things like that where only needed to be temporary.

That`s brilliant. There will be many applications for it and I`m sure there will be other versions of it developed as well. Excellent.

It will be too expensive to purchase and transport. It`s about spreading money as far as possible, not building the Taj Mahal of refugee tents.

^dont judge to fast targo. its basically a house. an inflatable, transportable house. also, they didnt say how much they would cost. and if we can FLY TANKS ACROSS THE MOTHER EFFING WORLD, we can transport these.

Nothing beats concrete as a cheap, durable building material.

Forget temporary; a lot of people could use these as homes. Ever seen a yurt?

The gas canister alone would cost a grand for one time use. You couldn`t use a normal compressor because it would be too slow. Imagine the pressure nessesary to lift 600 Lbs of cement and cement sets in less then 40 minutes. How would you effectively hydrate the cement inside a sealed bag before it sets? The air tight inner membrane might cost a thousand dollars. The undisclosed impregnated fiber is not going to be cheap. The cement has to remain wet while it cures. how is that managed? The desert is too cold at night and too hot during the day. Where do you find the perfect conditions for setting one of these up? Plus three of them would flatten a normal pickup. Theres a reason these guys don`t even have a prototype. The concept is unworkable.
