I started Phentermine medication for weight loss on 01/15/10 and Today is 02/14/10 I am a female, age 22 and started out at 227lbs and I am down to 210lbs. That`s 17 lbs.
I ordered Phentermine from www.medsheaven.com and It is very effective.

I`d have thought something like that would have erupted as a sort of punk-fashion statement rather than a diet fad.

What is with people and trying to find an easy way out of there weight problem? Except for morbidly obese people, it is not hard to go to the gym and eat less. Or you could get a hobby/sport and avoid eating becase you have nothing else to do and you get exercise.

Okay Rambling over

Wow....that looks amazing. But, you could take TabooPoison`s advice and just stop going to the McDonald`s. I wouldnt like to try that, since I already have a really high metabolism, but I know a few people who might want to give it a shot. :-P

The problem isn`t whether Wikipidia is accurate or not. I love it, and use it all the time to find out stuff I`m curious about. It`s quick and easy and I trust it. But you can`t use it for academic citations because the contributors don`t need to show thier own research or citations... Almost all other academic works have citations that go back to peer reviewed journals.

I trust wikipidea, but you can`t use it to "prove" something is true.

this is rediculous. how about you stop sitting in front of the television and eating fast food then get up and actually do something. or better yet don`t let yourself get fat in the first place and you won`t have to revert to masochistic solutions to your weight problem... and it is a problem

It only works because of a muscle along your ears move when you chew, when stapled, it causes too much pain to chew.
So really you`re punishing your self for eating. Painfully...

There`s loads of people watching each edit on Wikipedia. Most of the time pages get reverted within an hour.

whoa whoa whoa it all depends what you are looking up on wikipedia! i got a (mostly) compleate and compleatly accurate list of polyatomic ions off wikipedia. the accuracy was confirmed by my science teacher, who`s knowledge of this crap is astounding. wikipedia also checks for stupid crap preatty often and responds quickly to problems. but about this staple thing, if i was fat i wouldnt do that, cause i am so afraid of pain its ridiculous! i would have a dangling cross earing or something like it, but im too much a wimp. (im just kidding about the dangling cross, too eighties)

Watch, they stop rubbing the staple and they gain about 50 pounds more because they havent had the food they craved for so long.

Heck, if it works for someone who needs help losing weight, great for them! :-)

As kungfool and HOBYandy mention, though, wikipedia is worthless as a source for an academic article and that sort of turned me off to article in general. But hey, like I say, if it works for someone, let `em keep on keepin` on! :-)

Could be true. There`s also a nerve going to your lungs passing by your ear, (which you can hit when cleaning your ear and makes you cough)so why not one to your stomache? But I too fear for the side-effects...

wikipedia is hardly a reliable source.

I think it`s funny that the article links wikipedia.org as the "scientific authority" But wikipedia, no matter how usefull, can`t be used academically as a source because anyone can contribute to it without showing all thier own references or research.

In fact it`s possible that whoever was promoting this added that bit about the ear to wikipedia on thier own.

I`m actually inclined to believe this:

the reason (could be urban legend, but i`ve seen strong research supporting this) that sailors from the 1700-1800`s wore earrings was for this very reason: the nerve that people are stimulating with the staples made the sailors want to eat less, meaning that the ships could last longer on less food than they could previously.

look215... No. They staple a certain section of cartiledge which, when the staple is rubber (probably the only reason there is a staple there is to make sure the people remember where it is), this stimulates a nerve which, through quite the process of a very complex nervous system, removes urges to eat.

There may be some truth to it, but like it says, this is nothing like acupuncture, where it is only for a few hours. This is constant, I bet there is some weird ass side effect that hasnt revealed itself yet, like, i dont know, rapid weight gain within a couple months, or lepercy....
