Link: Redneck Air Conditioner - I love it!

When the man at the auto repair shop told me that it would cost $1400 to fix my car`s air conditioning, I just laughed at him and said, heck , I can fix it myself for a whole lot less than that!`` MY MOMMA DIDN`T RAISE NO FOOL!!!!!!!

Excellent! All it needs now is a beverage dispenser, television and toilet. Maybe a fridge and a grill? There`d be no reason to leave the car--ever!

    lmao!

Gotta love the subtleties, like the thick glue used to hold the wall unit in place. Reminds me of that spray on foam stuff you use to mend walls etc (?)

Hey Cheesecar and Melxoxo. Well, yeah, I know you can get them in cars or motorhomes already, but this guy did his modifications for the low, low price of like $19.95 and some ingenuity. I was just imagining a full-sized fridge bungy corded into where the trunk used to be, etc. ;-)

or you could string 100 car batteries together and use a 100w inverter then have a generator charging the batteries, you could have periods WITHOUT the generator running *important when watching tv and discussing buisness in you ghetto car* XD

u dumbasses the generator is tiny, even in a camping spot u`d b lucky if it ran ur fridge for a couple of hrs yet alone an airconditioner, aircons use shyt loads of power the generator wouldnt be able to run it for long before it would run out of gas

Hey Melxoxo. I don`t know what kind of whimp ass generators you guys run Down Under, but over in `merica, small gas generators are often used to provide backup power for an entire house in case of loss of power. They power not only a house fridge and appliances, but the house-sized A/C as well. That isn`t a toy on the trunk of that car! You could probably launch and power the space shuttle with that thing--and run it`s A/C!!! ;-)
