It looks pretty neat. My boyfriend was a boy scout so I sent this thinking he was interested. I told him he should use alcohol and he was like "I wonder if you can use Gasoline in it!".

I would assume the heat generated by the gas would melt the can... not to mention there`s a big warning somehwere in the directions that states to USE ALCOHOL ONLY, lol.

You use denatured alcohol, at least thats what I used. I hike, so that`s the reason.

Charcoal? it`s far too small for that. Alcohol is the way to go.

You can find them all over eBay. They`re used by campers mostly, the ones who really get out there away from everything. They do a good job too. I thought it was better and safer to get one of those than to make one myself.
