It embarrasses me that there are still people in this country that have undying support for Bush. True patriots would want to protect our country against that tool.

S J W. I`m not American but this blatant removal of human rights quite frankly should scare you. Then again theres probably nothing anyone could say to change your mind. Bush however WILL go down in history as Americas worst president.

magic image, when trying to make a point about a president it usually helps to proofread what you`ve written first. and just because people don`t like pres. bush doesn`t make them a hippy you idiot. it also doesn`t make you a liberal. it`s close minded people like you that run the government in the first place.

If this dosent show people how horrible of a president Bush is, then I don`t know what will. A president is supposed to be leading thier country, protecting the people, and making sure they have thier rights. Bush is not doing any of this, in fact he is doing the complete opposite.

What also bugs me is the people who turn thier back to politics thinking it will not effect them. Well wake up and smell the coffee! Politics effect everything you do, Even if you don`t live in America, you should still at least have some idea what is going on. This is because something Bush does may drag your country into a war, which we should not even be fighting to begin with.

I`ve been reading 1984 and it scares me that I can make so many parralels to the bush administration. Good film though ,sad subject matter. Yeah when I move to the states I think I`ll just have to completly block out american politics because its so sad.

Quite Frankly, Whats the friggen point? He`s in office now, there`s no changing that.

There is also no right, and there is no wrong, It`s all opinion.

Heres a few of my opinions.

1: If Kerry was in office than we would be in and out of Iraq,In otherwords, the man can`t make up his mind!
    2. Bush can`t back out now, we must finish this mess we have started, because no one else will.
    3. Anything you say or do will not effect any given outcome.

Okay for people that only get their news from the New York Times. The wire tap on American citizens only takes place if the citizen is making or receiving phone calls from a suspicious citizen outside of the U.S. The govt is not listening in on your latest adulterous affair or money laundering schemes. So back off and get real.

    Well said Targo

If they were simply spying on suspicious people in the US all they would need is a warrant (not that difficult to get one), but the fact that the circumvented that LAW, suggests that they were doing something they would not have been able to get a warrent for. Afterall, the administration has already shown themselves to spy on innocent Anti-war demonstrators.

Targo: ImNoGod your comments simply epitomize the lazy attitude that has gotten the world into this situation in the first place.

I did`nt say I don`t care about MY government, I do care, more so than you ever will. But there is no changing what has been done.

You can complain all you want, it`s geting us no were, and leading you in circles.

Like I said, it shames me that there are people in this country who can look at that laundry list of questionable and wrong acts and still stand by Bush. People who think it’s a bad thing to want the president to put qualified people in high positions, punish those who told troops that torture is ok, keep our civil liberties intact, and not go invading countries on a whim. And what is the best thing these idiots can do? Call me a liberal because I don’t think the president should have the power of a king (which is the same thing our founding fathers felt). I’m not even a liberal, nor am I a conservative I just like to think for myself.

yeah, its all on principle. the fact ITSELF that the government is listening in may be a bad thing, but that is against the american way IN PRINCIPLE. and for anybody saying im stupid for sticking to principle so much, america only exists due to principles. do you really think the itty bitty taxes were hurting people? no, it was because if you let it slide now, it will progress into a huge problem. a stitch in time saves nine. i probobly got WAY off topic, so if this made no sense, dont waste your time to debunk me.

I love how some of you keep saying: he`s in the office now there`s nothing we can do. LOOK AT THE FRIGGIN CONSTITUION PEOPLE!! We`re supposed to have a government for the people and by the people. We`re supposed to be the ones choosing who leads us. We`re also supposed to be able to empeach the president if he`s incapable of doing his job. This isn`t a monarchy or dictatorship, we should be able to nix this guy from the white house if we don`t see him fit as a ruler, or if he`s taking away our rights. What are we supposed to do? Stand idly by and let our rights be compromised by power hungry government officials interested far more in their profit than their people? No one ever changed the world by thinking "there is no changing what has been done". What about woman`s rights and rights for black people? No one achieved that by accepting the crappy circumstance of how things were.

Your lack of knowledge disturbs me. Bush Can not be "nixed", unless there is a Massive scandal. The Democrats had there chance at elections. Save your enthusiasm for the next election. Anything you say will not change it.
