So cute.

Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK.

"But i really doubt a little kid would go and sit on a random old man`s lap who was crying and not do anything. They would either not do it or do it and poke them. Heh heh." A kid`s more likely to do that than any other person. When I was a kid I used to go up to random people and hold their hand.

Anyway, unless you actually spend time with kids, you can`t say "a kid would never say that", because it`s obvious that at least half of you who are judging know nothing about children.

I`m not saying these were definately WERE written by kids, but I do think it`s believable to think that.

When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn`t bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all even when his hands got arthritis, too. That`s Love.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!

"I helped him cry"

Was he beating him up or something?

Haha, I wouldn`t be surpised if they said this. I was watching buffy when Spike and Buffy were rolling around and at each other, and my little cousin came in and said "They are touching each other and kissing" Hes only four so I think that was a good description for sexual gamesXD

I like these, whether they were really said by four to eight year olds or not. Why have so many of the people here said that the comments can`t be real? They might be, they might not, there`s no way to be sure I can think of. One thing they aren`t is impossible for kids, those of you who agree with that are simply wrong, sorry. I have six nephews and nieces, of varrious ages, and their vocal skills certainly had achieved this level by the age of four with three out of the six. One of my nephews i`m not likely to see again, another is only two (nor do i see him too often) and my other nephew was a slow starter when it came to speaking (having a little sister has helped him alot). Again I`ve taken to rambling, sorry. Crowe

Okay, Targo - here`s some insight into love.
Love is when you care about someone so much that their fetish - which may disgust you at first - is something that you give serious, honest, and nonjudgemental consideration to. You want this person to be happy, because they themselves bring you so much joy. You don`t judge them, you don`t turn your back on them. And, yes, if you truly love and care for them, you will allow them to evacuate their bowels on your naked chest, if that is what "turns them on." You try it at least once. And, if you still find the idea distasteful, you hope that they can understand and respect your decision not to do it again. Because at least you gave it a shot for them. And that`s all one can ask in a loving, nurturing relationship.

the only one that maybe sound like it came out of a child mouth was this one:
Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss .

not too many long words, very simple idea. i don`t doubt that there are smart kids, but i just don`t believe this.

This is absolute rubbish!
Lovely quotes, but when a little kid is asked what is love, thjey are not gonna go into some drivel about how their grandad paints their nan`s toenails. They would say
"its like this thing that is like when someone loves anohter person lots and lots or something"
Why not have that twenty times over

"what i ment was little kids don`t run around saying my dad wears cologne theyd probably are more likely to say perfume or smelly stuff"

It depends on what their parents say. Little kids pick words up from their parents, if their parents use the word cologne and the kid knows what it means, the kid will say cologne. Not every kid learns the exact same things all at the exact same age all the time. Some kids have different vocabulary than others.

So what if that`s what kids think love is, there not wrong
"Love is what`s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen" In a wierd way it`s true. Kids know more than you think, there the ones telling the truth.

Man you guys are jaded. Kids are a lot smarter than you give them credit for. My old boss`s son (who was about 6 at the time) was in a record store with his mother, listening to some music. He took off the head phones and said, "Pardon me if I`m wrong, mommy, but I do believe this is Beethoven." And he was right.
"Cologne" really isn`t that hard of a word, especially if the kid`s father uses it.

Love is... a shiny new Nokia under the christmas tree (*coughs*mother*coughs*) How olds 1st grade? I`m guessing very young, and very young kids swear because it gains a reaction, and they think its funny (it don`t stop, and I`m nearly 23) but, not nneccesarily to understand, but to express love takes years of life experience. I still don`t get it really.
