This reminds me of Dan Akroyd`s children toys and halloween costumes that were obviously dangerous. Then showed how normal toys could be dangerous, like the phone cord choking you or gettin an infected splinter from toy blocks.

Wow. And this is why some kids DIE? Because of some non-nice individual parent that doesn`t take care of their kid? WOW

And I am in total defense of KikiPeepers.
If you don`t like the link then don`t post.

Kid:Mommy,my Nintendo DS fell on me!

Kid:But mom,it only hurt a little.

Mom:It hurt you?!*Wraps kid in bubble wrap*
This is how it really is.

oh for christs sake...i knocked myself out and had stitches in me head from running into a tree branch. after that my clearly dangerous legs where removed and all the trees in the area where cut down and all the kids in the village where wrapped in bubblewrap before leaving the house...*end sarcasm*

You can hurt someone with a slingshot? You`re freaking kidding me! Slingshots are just about the safest toy ever! There`s no way you could load a rock into it and fire it at someone`s eye! Never!

I put one of Barbies shoes up my nose when I was like 5.

Oh no! That means that Barbie is dangerous! My nose could have fallen off!

Seriously. There are much more hazardous toys than the ones listed there.

W.A.T.C.H. says the "PistolSplat" paintball shooter fires ".50 caliber" paint balls at a high velocity.

that made me think of a .50 browning.
of thse ?barettas? used to destroy lightly armored targets.
BUT NOT a puni little gun that shoots little balls in not so "high velocity."

well, according to darwin, maybe we should market toys like that so as to weed out the ones stupid enough to kill themseleves by trying to eat crap. Come on, it`s for the good of the future generation, be rid of the stupid kids eh?
:-p

What I thought was funny were the most expensive toys link on that site...Price: $32,350 for a kids SUV and $49,999 for a lifesized robot. HOLY CRAP that`s a lot of money for kid`s toys!!!

right on pink...and if parents monitored their children better we wouldn`t have as much funny video on IAB & eBaums...

These are all so stupid. If parents watch their kids bad things wouldn`t happen, especially if they`re raised right. And what kind of parent would buy those toys for their kid anyway?

Shive H. Vishnu! God forbid if a parent watched their children! When I was a kid (many years ago) we played with lawn darts, rode bikes over thru and around danger-without helmets & pads and manage to survive-thrive in fact with an ongoing mantra "Cut that out" "Don`t do that" and my favourite- "stop throwing lawn darts at your brother." I say neuter these negligent morons!>-(

This link sucked. Be careful, sucking may cause small parts to be lodged in the throat and cause choking.

....Those were so horribly obvious(and rather stupid). Why the hell did they say all that when common sense should tell you that? Ah well... I still laughed!

Why oh why are parents such winging barstards these days. You`d think that since the majority of them still have both their eyes that they`d understand that kids need to learn the hardway that a rubber band in the head friggin hurts. Just an example anyway guys.

Well, I see the box of used shaving blades has been removed from the market. That one was very dangerous because kids could swallow them. What the heck is with this site? I`ve been suggesting stuff much more interesting than KIKIPEEPERS and only her crappy links are considered. I`m sure you agree with me here about her suggestions, I mean come on.

Oh no! not the kickaroos!:-P

Somehow, what amused me the most was that the subject was on the top ten most dangerous toys of 2005, and an ad for AIU below read: "Earn your degree fast!"... the irony cracked me up!
