People, People! That was Uncle Jesse Driving that time. And by the way... the tires changing direction was the recoiling of the rubber band system that Dodge patented.

For anyone dissing this jump, let me give you some facts. The car was specially built for this jump from donated pieces from 3 different cars. The ultimate care was taken as far as safety devices for the stunt driver. The driver is one of the best stunt drivers in Hollywood who did Dukes back when it was filmed. He purposely asked for no counter ballast in the trunk as he explained to me the front takes the brunt of the impact and less chance of back injury than to land on all 4 tires and no if you don`t know about Dukes of Hazzard this jump would mean nothing to you.

"i have no idea who the dukes of hazzerd are, just that they drive that car and some guy is called sheriff lobo, lol what a crappy name :-p"

Yup, you really have no idea. There is no sherriff lobo. The Dukes of Hazzard is an American icon of th 80`s. Two reasons you wouldn`t have any idea.

"It`s weird how everyone was cheering when the guy in that car could have been dead while they were saying Yayyyyyyyyy Action-Packed!!"

Somehow I doubt the driver was forced to strap himself in and launch the car into the air.

Everytime I see an amateur do a jump with a car or a truck, the vehicle`s nose always dives down because of the engine weight makes it front heavy. They have to put some ballast in the trunk to land properly. Motorcross bikes are mid engined and well balanced, thus making good jumpers. My 2.35464 cents.

"Does absolutely nothing for me."

Same here - I suppose this might make sense if I had actually seen The Dukes of Hazzard or something

I`d like to show that video to all the tough guys walking around saying that they want to be Hollywood stuntmen. Most of them wouldn`t even get in the back seat of that car, much less drive it and hit the ramp just right at highway speeds. That`s actually a little tiny jump compared to a lot they do, and the balls it takes to do that (and then do it again the next day) is incredible.
