resons to get a Nintendo Revolution:

1.the contoller works in a 3-d world which is cool

2.its small so you can bring it in the car and to your annoying relatives house easily

3. you can download any nintendo game ever made

^^^^theres gonna be online and theres a regular controllor with some games to play what will now be called old fashion.rumble would be cool with a gun game like you shoot it and its like you are really holding a gun and not sure if I undersood but are you saying there is a wire on the controller?no its wireless so you can run around freely[p.s I own a gamecube wireless and it works perfectly].how it works.....I am not sure but you bet its gonna be accurate.I think it will just have a thing that it has track your postiton in the 3-D inverment like you put sensors around the room.and gosh exercise is good for you!!!!so does that anwser stuff for you?oh!and what did you mean never mind?like you found this out already.....well then this is for the people who don`t know.....and lastly its not for little kids.just becuase they dont have grand theft auto or games like it[with drugs, gore, stealing, killing, swearing, andhookers]doesent mean its for three year olds.ok im going to play on nintendo.

who play the nintendo product are little kids i mean nintendo has always been there for kids just like micheal jackson so this might get the kids playing longer the only thing that matters to me is if the revo has online or not after the gamecube never had the online like xbox and ps2 that cut sales by god knows how much *cough* (alot) *cough cough* it does seem that having the controller be like a remote control for a tv if your trying to get a bottun on the top of the controller you might be covering up the ones on the bottom making it hard to make fastbottom presses unless your usingtwo hands and with that second controller that branches out with that cable whats the piont of wirless if you got this little wire that can`t stretch out farther then the Y key on your keybourd my gosh wouldn`t it be easy to have both of the controller be wireless. and if they ight change this thats good but one of the controllers being rumble thats stupid theres not alot a sense

ok after reading the posts ive come up with this, think of the eyetoy for the ps2 how well did that do not that well other then the eyetoy play games which got really super old after a really super short amount of time plus you got to think of this. this was on some website that was information on the revo "Its main innovation will be its controller that responds to its own position and orientation in 3-D physical space in front of the television, a concept never before seen in mainstream consoles" does this mean i havta move my gaming chair to the center of the console to get accurete gameplay now thats a little to much and i just want t play the game not sweat a storm doing it i mean i don`t want to wave my controller like a harry potter nerd to make mario to do a jump i mean its a good idea but they should let you chose and have both controller one normal and one being this i just smoke big joint wave your arms like a nerd. but this might be good sence most of the people w

Can you stop using the fact that it can slot into a controller as an argument? Last time I checked we were talking about how we don`t like the actual remote control shaped one. I mean, I don`t think the controller comes with its shell system straight away (correct me if I`m wrong, not that I need to ask, you lot jump at the chance) so you have to pay extra. Also, the extra controller shows nintendo was nervous aboiut how the new controller is interpreted, big leap?

To all the naysayers about Nintendo`s failure to enter the run in graphics: Do you not still play your NES? That was Nintendo, and that wasn`t superb graphics. The thing is, Nintendo consistently comes up with fantastic gameplay: Zelda, Mario and Pikmen to name but a few fantastic releases.

Besides, who says they can`t compete this time around?

WOW your statements are so horribly wrong and crappy.
1) The only reason you say it sucks is because you don`t want to try anything new
2) WTF is wrong with the gamecube controller?
3) Microsoft did not copy off the PS2 controller, they copied of the Sega Dreamcast controller. Look it up.

REPOST, and it sucks. I have to give them credit, though, at least they didn`t make a controller as crappy as the Gamecube controller... ugh...

Do what Microsoft did and rip off Sony`s PS2 controller design... not the ugly PS3 ones, the PS2 ones. Those are the best, followed by the XBox controller.

"you`d be screwed in games with more complicated controls like resident evil and stuff"

That’s what the controller shell will be for. Look it up... or read the other posts here that detail what will be done on the Revolution.

exactly, you guys arent catching the part where it plugs into an outer shell. it will fit into the center of a standard conroller, so it will be the PS3 controller but better! if it was just the little remote thingy, i would hate it, but the creative folk at nintendo realized how irritating that would be, and modified it.

The controller could act as anything with a handle. Hammer, axe, mic, etc.

I have I question.why does everyone hate it?are you afriad to get up and swing your arms around for once in your life!come on the point is that you do what the person does in the game.you swing the controller you move the sword, bat, drum stick, etc.!and with the graphics look at the Gamecube and the XBOX.I dont know about you but they both pretty much looked the same depending on the game.I bet one of you was about to say"What?are you blind?"no im not.LOOK!GO LOOK!they are the same thing!same as the new consoles.they will all end up looking the same.I for one cant wait to chop monsters up[I mean the whole thing swinging the sword and all!]when they come out with a zelda game.if you think about it.this is unlimted.notice the guy with the controllers in both hands playing the drums.now think about boxing.each controller is one fist.you punch in real life you punch in the game.think about.if you cant think anymore im sure devlopers will.im running out of room so yeah um......think

"I think it`s awesome. the only problem is that casual gamers wont play it."

the reason they made it this way is to draw in casual gamers. They know that any hardcore gamers are going to buy it anyways. If you don`t like it, you might end up buying it just to see what it`s like. That`s the whole plan.

pathetic attempt to grab the gamers attention.

even with this, their graphics are still gonna suck

The controller is a risk ill give you that, but nintendo are lagging in the market and they cannot afford to lose the people who arent hardcore gamers, and the reason people will buy things is because they are tried and tested and look good, not because theyre the new spangly thing, i mean the playstation 2 has a 1 handed controller glove, how many of you own one? very few id guess because they dont work well with people who just want something they can pick up and play.

I like it. Yeah. *coughs*. It`s different and innovative. Everyone has their opinion but doesn`t it make more sense to say that you like something rather than flaming it? Mmm. Well, whatever. Everyone has their opinion. Yeah. Kay. I`m done.

Oh... Another one of these arguments where no one lets you say you don`t like it... Well I`ll say it anyway. I don`t like it. However fun it may be for a while and in first person shooters etc. it will probably lose its appeal after not too long. I mean, it would be good for some games, but not for all. So can you just let people have their opinion instead of shouting at them for not liking something. Sheesh.

"it`s only a little remote control!"

Yes, a remote control that has infinite flexibility thanks to it’s peripheral port, can work like a mouse through 3d space, sense all forms of tilt, has rumble and has sent the development community into a whirlwind of buzz about what can be done with it. Seriously, it’s a pretty sophisticated piece of hardware. For all of you who wonder how the Game Cube games will work with this, it’s been stated that there will be a shell made for it that when docked will closely resemble the wavebird controller.
