I don`t think I`d want my full name on the internet... It was a cute idea though.

Google is going to take over the world someday I know it and it is nice that this sweet couple is showing their defiance by proposing via ASK JEEVES. I hate Ask Jeeves though...

no sorry, i disagree. just because people post online in a forum does not neccessarily make you a nerd...however...proposing via ask jeeves definately does!! c`mon people...be honest! as cute as it is, its still nerdy. may they live long and prosper....damn, is that giving it away?

heh...I find it kind of funny that members of an online community, some with hundreds if not thousands of posts are accusing someone else of being a geek. Pot. Kettle. Black.
Anyways, personally I thought it was a cute idea:-)

Hurray for romance, whatever form it may be in.

For my part, I am clear on my likes and dislikes so I would never be faced with such a proposal that I would not care for.
Its a shame he made her search her name, it would have been alot better if she found it on her own. . . although who searches there own name?
I`ve searched my name before just out of curiosity :-/

As for this, it would`ve been better if she figured it out on her own.. It`s still sweet, though. Now, everytime he searches for her name, he has her picture :-) But if they get divorced, it would still be there for him to see... and regret

hah! i give this guy credit. thats a very creative and interesting way to propose.... i dont think he`s a nerd at all, just extremely intelligent and clever (maybe this way of proposal is just that couple`s way of being romantic).. hehehe whatever it was, the girl said yes so obviously she loved it.... i hope their marriage is a long happy one.

That guy is a real geek. I would hate for my boyfriend to ask me that way, it isn`t romantic at all, unless you`re one hell of a nerd.

Wow, that is cleaver and its not too nerdish either. But I`d never do that that way witha girl; the classic is fine with me. :)
