It`s called PHOTOSHOP, people
lmaoooooo.....btw, i have a crappy media player and i still saw him
I made an account just to respond to this damn squabble.
The demo video uses a camera directly behind the person to record the scene. A computer processes the information and refeeds it to a projector. This projector reflects the image off a partially transparent mirror and onto the coat. The coat itself is made of the same reflective material you see on utility workers` garments and stop signs to make them very brightly reflective under very little light. So the feeble image reflected by the partial mirror comes up comparatively bright on the material and doesn`t show up on anything else. That`s why you can`t see the image on anything not covered in the material. Chances are if you looked at someone standing in the area real close, you could see the rest of the projection.
Omega_ma, you`re awesome. blast0, I don`t know why you kept up your arguments.
think of the miliatary applications
I doubt anyone of these "its fake" morons knows how vision works.
Its rather real, and you guys are so rediculous lol
Invisibility is only an illusion, and so is sight.
its our mind understanding the world around us. Similar how a jet can be stealth from radar (signals bounce off not back to the location) radar is to stealth as vision is to optic camoflauge
wow... i went from the `invisibilty cloak` to movies lol
This is a prototype that uses a projector and camera tricks along with a specially designed fabric.
Now that that`s cleared up, let this argument die already.
seriously people, its a projector, nothin grand. get half a brain.
Not true. It is actually a new type of technology that has cameras all around it that desplay what is behind you.
If it was real then it wouldn`t have to be doctored up with a bunch of equipment. Does it kind of look real? Yes, of course. That`s what illusions are designed to do, look real while not being so.
what`s behind them is filmed and the cloaks made of this special stuff. Just read it
I don`t know what they`ve done since I last saw a clip, but they had hundreds of cameras and lights on it to make it do that so even if you`re invisible I think the equipment might just give you away, just a small chance of being spotted lol
I`m not exactly sure how he did it though. Perhaps he`s standing in front of a camera and that image is being played in real time on the TV monitor and the whole thing is being recorded.
It looks like a projector to me. A real life invisibility cloak would be so cool though...
