Is that a sports stadium FILLED with water? Crap.

Also, can you see people sitting on roofs? That would be cool. I mean, not cool for them, obviously, it`s tragic for them. But cool for us bystanders. In a morbid way.

I don`t see how they could rebuild after that kind of damage.

I think google made the colors darker on purpose to make the whole thing to be more ominous than it really is.

This is what happens when you live next to the sea, below sea level. Let the government use the money to buy out ppl`s land instead of re-building so that we`ll never have this disaster again! People aren`t going to be allowed back in there for at least a year anyways, by then, they`ll probably be happy enough where they are.

Ummm, because satelites don`t work well through cloud cover or rain?

What gets me is the lack of decent satelite coverage on the area BEFORE the hurricane. I guess they didn`t see it as needed.

Wha..? Flood? New Orleans? Hurricane?

Did I miss something?

It`s just because I heard about people driving around looking for routes they could take that weren`t flooded, if they knew about the photos it would have helped them.

Well, except for durring the huricane and stuff like that, they probably wouldnt have needed it. They`ve got all kinds of ways of finding that sort of thing out, including helicopters, other satellites, on foot reports.

They should have used the satellite photos to help coordinate the relief effort, that way they could know what routes were flooded and which weren`t.
