They used to focus primarily on gorefests but have tried to showcase more "wrestling" as of late. Many of rher stars can be seen on spike tv NWA TNA wrestling. Most fo their shows are run from Philadelphia in the old ECW arena.
There is a music video around that is way more bloody than this. I am going to try and find it.
(For those who want to know, The one taking the hit is called "Sick" Nick Mondo and the one who is giving it to him is called Wifebeatr. Yes, that`s true.)
"ITs fake, as in, the best man does not win. People who watch it like to see men touching each other. The do not watch for sport, it is scripted which means not real." Once again, fake is not the term I`d use for it. Scripted, sure. However, the reason I personally watch is much the same reason one would watch a movie: the story told via the match, as well as the methods used in telling it. And just because it`s scripted does not mean there`s not a fair amount of athleticism and pain involved. Not anyone can get out there and throw "fake" punches, and end up with a good match.
Honestly, if someone wanted to see two men touch each other, it`d be alot easier just to get online and see it.
If you`re not a wrestling fan, odds are, you don`t understand why

And to all you people who are constantly saying that videos, photos or anything else is fake, go screw yourself. You`re just being a dumbass and it`s stupid. Granted, some are fake, but not EVER DAMN ONE. So stfu cus no wants to hear it.
Sure, it may be "scripted", it may be a "work", but there`s no way I`d categorize it as fake.
Then again, what do I know? I`m just in training to do it for a living, and study tapes everyday.
I believe that`s five.
Tae Bo > Pro Wrestling? No one`s ever been busted open doing Tae Bo. No one`s ever nearly had their arm amputated as a result of a Tae Bo exercise. No one`s gotten caught up in their Tae Bo equipment and lost an ear.
Now, all this said, the business is a work... scripted. Fake by no means... getting slammed on the canvas may feel good in an alternate universe, but not this one. There`s no "tr
The damage to his torso was authentic. In the sense of the match, "Sick" Nick Mondo did not move, as he had been sufficiently tired down both in this match, and in two prior matches of that type the same day.
As far as "fake" vs. "real"... neither. Scripted. However, knifedge chops definetly hurt, and have been known to bust open the blood vessels in the chest of wrestlers. On the independent scence (CZW, Ring of Honor, PWG, Chikara, IWA Mid-South), kicks and punches also connect in some instances. More often, kicks and forearm shivers are the blows that connect. Part of the joy of watching wrestling is being able to sit back and dissect WHY the moves are taking place. Anyone who views it as a competitive sport is out of their mind.
The blood is legit... I`ve been there, I`ve seen it. Ask The Necro Butcher... as
lol i would gladly take that for 50mil (hell, id do it for 100 bucks!)
Anyway, it`s not fake, it`s scripted. And no, they do not mean the same thing. Fake is pretending to be something that you are not. In the 1940`s pro wrestling was fake, but today it is scripted. In the oldin` days promoters tried to fool people that it was real, but today promoters and fans a like both see and agree that pro wrestling is entertainment. So it`s not pretending to be something it`s not, it is entertainment.
If the outcome is decided before the match happens it`s fake... no matter what happens durnig... they get hurt sometimes but not as much as REAL fighting... think about it... ever see a fat lip or a swollen anything in wrestling... bah you guys crack me up...
WRESTLING IS FAKE... it`s a guys soap opera... accept it and move on...
This is CZW, which is a semi-underground wrestling league that focuses on hardcore matches. (more videos feature a swanton bomb off a truck through a table, but the guy misses it and smashes his tailbone).
CZW isn`t "fake", its scripted. That guy was obviously payed money for taking that. Thats called a "spot" which is the sequence of events in a match. A wrestling match is just a number of spots that the wrestlers memorize.
The punching and submissions are "fake" (meaning they don`t bust a person open in a second or break his neck with a crossface) This has to be because it would not be entertainment if a wrestler went into a match and just punched somebody until they could no longer continue. If thats what you like..Watch some UFC or Pride Fighting.
Now, that was a real weedwhacker with really crappy flexible blades, because the cuts were not deep. Which means they obviously didn`t use metal blades.
That is true. I recall seeing a video where hulk hogan takes out a razor blade and cuts himself real quick. You could only see it if you played it in slo-mo.
I DO - even if that was real, which I very much doubt, wrestling is still the most ungenuine thing ever - and somewhat homoerotic, which is why I get suspicious of people who put pictures of wrestlers on their bedroom walls.
If you look closely at the photo, you can see big cuts and small cuts. The big ones are from the initial impact, the small ones are after it had already slowed down. It`s also possible that the blades on the weed whacker broke partly off at the initial impact, most weed whacker blades are cheap and are made to shatter when hitting solid objects.
Still looks like it hurt though.
