CZWrestling.com is the name of their site. You can buy their videos through smartmarkvideo.com

They used to focus primarily on gorefests but have tried to showcase more "wrestling" as of late. Many of rher stars can be seen on spike tv NWA TNA wrestling. Most fo their shows are run from Philadelphia in the old ECW arena.

There is a music video around that is way more bloody than this. I am going to try and find it.

Yeah, wrestling moves are fake, but stuff like this is real.

(For those who want to know, The one taking the hit is called "Sick" Nick Mondo and the one who is giving it to him is called Wifebeatr. Yes, that`s true.)

big cat 8 thank you, that was greatly appreaciated. jtc, i wont argue that its scripted, most of the time, it isnt always scripted, a good portion of the time the wrestlers call the match while they are wrestling. and no the best man doesnt always win, but its called ass kissing, i am sure you are one who does it so much your lips are brown. and it just so happen i do watch for the sport, for those of you who watch for the guys touching each other then youre mot a true wrestling fan. and by the way i am not talking about backyard wrestling i am talking about professional wrestling federations in the state of new york and in canada and pennsylvania and connecticut. so why dont you pull your head out of your ass, arent you getting tired of seeing the back of your tongue???

"That`s actually called backyard wrestling and it`s making a big wake in the community. So many people are into it right now." Actually, CZW is a fully-licensed wrestling company with trained wrestlers.

"ITs fake, as in, the best man does not win. People who watch it like to see men touching each other. The do not watch for sport, it is scripted which means not real." Once again, fake is not the term I`d use for it. Scripted, sure. However, the reason I personally watch is much the same reason one would watch a movie: the story told via the match, as well as the methods used in telling it. And just because it`s scripted does not mean there`s not a fair amount of athleticism and pain involved. Not anyone can get out there and throw "fake" punches, and end up with a good match.

Honestly, if someone wanted to see two men touch each other, it`d be alot easier just to get online and see it.

If you`re not a wrestling fan, odds are, you don`t understand why

And to all you people who are constantly saying that videos, photos or anything else is fake, go screw yourself. You`re just being a dumbass and it`s stupid. Granted, some are fake, but not EVER DAMN ONE. So stfu cus no wants to hear it.

As I was unable to finish above... there`s no "trick chair". If something looks like it hurts, it usually does. Getting dropped on your head does not feel good (see: independent and Japanese wrestling). Getting hit with knifedge chops, kicks, and forearms does not feel good. In fact, there`s very little in wrestling where you can say, "That didn`t hurt at all."

Sure, it may be "scripted", it may be a "work", but there`s no way I`d categorize it as fake.

Then again, what do I know? I`m just in training to do it for a living, and study tapes everyday.

"hey, beastette, name 5 professional wrestlers that have died in the ring. plz. boxing = real, ufc = stupid, but real, tae bo > than pro wrestling. ouch. you want some ice for that burn?"
Since I have some information you`d likely appreciate: Dan Quirk (ring name "Spyder") was killed early this year when he was on the recieving end of a moonsault. 11/27/04, Espiritu de la Muerte died attempting a dive. Moondog Spot collapsed in the ring, as did Ted DiBiase`s father. Oro, another luchador, died October 26, 1993, while attempting a dive.

I believe that`s five.

Tae Bo > Pro Wrestling? No one`s ever been busted open doing Tae Bo. No one`s ever nearly had their arm amputated as a result of a Tae Bo exercise. No one`s gotten caught up in their Tae Bo equipment and lost an ear.

Now, all this said, the business is a work... scripted. Fake by no means... getting slammed on the canvas may feel good in an alternate universe, but not this one. There`s no "tr

Alright, here`s the deal: the weedwhacker is authentic... it has a plastic piece (similar to a zip tie) at the end, as some weedwhackers do.

The damage to his torso was authentic. In the sense of the match, "Sick" Nick Mondo did not move, as he had been sufficiently tired down both in this match, and in two prior matches of that type the same day.

As far as "fake" vs. "real"... neither. Scripted. However, knifedge chops definetly hurt, and have been known to bust open the blood vessels in the chest of wrestlers. On the independent scence (CZW, Ring of Honor, PWG, Chikara, IWA Mid-South), kicks and punches also connect in some instances. More often, kicks and forearm shivers are the blows that connect. Part of the joy of watching wrestling is being able to sit back and dissect WHY the moves are taking place. Anyone who views it as a competitive sport is out of their mind.

The blood is legit... I`ve been there, I`ve seen it. Ask The Necro Butcher... as

okay, i have to say this, for those of you whom believe wrestling is fake, youre wrong, and i would know, my fiance is a wrestler and i am the one babying his wounds. as well as some of my friends whom wrestle, they do get hurt. and i also am learning how to wrestle, so before you call anything fake you better tryit yourslef first, because professional wrestling is anything but. the wrestlers do sustain serious injuries, they split lips, get concussions, break bones, get stitches, name it and they do it, why do you think some wrestlers have died while wrestling, it isnt fake!!!!!!!!! you cna think what you want, but if you think its fake, i hope you enjoy being wrong!!!!!!!!!!! like i said, you cant say its fake until you have tried it,and bot just tried it but also become experienced in it and know wrestlers and care for them when they sustain injuries. especially the cruiserweights and hardcore wrestlers. they get hurt an awful lot, my fiance is a hardcore wrestler.

There is another thing that you can do with a weed whacker that is just as stupid. My friend watched a few guys swing and weed whacker at a bee hive and knock it down. Haha I`m sorry I missed that show!
I remember hearing about wrestlers using razor blades on themselves when I was a kid as well.

No, WWE and CZW (the wretling fed in the vid) are pretty much similar. They are both scripted, they both use chairs of the same. It`s not like WWE has like trick tables and chairs or anything like that, they are real. It`s just now a days WWE is getting less hardcore and more sextual :`(. It`s just that CZW is more focused on the hardcore crowds like ECW was.

Thats not the "WWE oily hairless Jesus-looking-men in homoerotic positions and overacting big-boobed bimbos" wrestling, thats one of those "back-yard wrestling" things where people really do things like that, and REAL chairs, tables, and trashcans. The people that put out those DVDs are probably the same ones that do those bum-fight ones.

David Arquette: WRESTLING IS NOT FAAAAAAAKEEE!

Anyway, it`s not fake, it`s scripted. And no, they do not mean the same thing. Fake is pretending to be something that you are not. In the 1940`s pro wrestling was fake, but today it is scripted. In the oldin` days promoters tried to fool people that it was real, but today promoters and fans a like both see and agree that pro wrestling is entertainment. So it`s not pretending to be something it`s not, it is entertainment.

You`ve got to be kidding me... are we still having the "Is wrestling fake?" conversation... wow...

If the outcome is decided before the match happens it`s fake... no matter what happens durnig... they get hurt sometimes but not as much as REAL fighting... think about it... ever see a fat lip or a swollen anything in wrestling... bah you guys crack me up...

WRESTLING IS FAKE... it`s a guys soap opera... accept it and move on...

Ohh gosh, wow you people are weird.

This is CZW, which is a semi-underground wrestling league that focuses on hardcore matches. (more videos feature a swanton bomb off a truck through a table, but the guy misses it and smashes his tailbone).

CZW isn`t "fake", its scripted. That guy was obviously payed money for taking that. Thats called a "spot" which is the sequence of events in a match. A wrestling match is just a number of spots that the wrestlers memorize.

The punching and submissions are "fake" (meaning they don`t bust a person open in a second or break his neck with a crossface) This has to be because it would not be entertainment if a wrestler went into a match and just punched somebody until they could no longer continue. If thats what you like..Watch some UFC or Pride Fighting.

Now, that was a real weedwhacker with really crappy flexible blades, because the cuts were not deep. Which means they obviously didn`t use metal blades.

Thats

Hey, a friend of mine`s grandfather was one of the first profesional wresters (the ones that went with the carnival from town to town), and he said that they actualy hid razor blades on them, and cut themselves at proper times when it was scripted to do so. if that isnt any more proof than you need for it to be fake, the punches in rocky look more realistic than the punches/kicks look in wrestling (the hits in rocky look pretty damn realistic though for the most part), dunno what to say but this: lol, that guy is a dumbass drating kick him in the nuts when he`s holding that sh¡t (weed whacker) over his head and walk off saying "drat it im not a dumbass"!

This looks more like Backyard Wrestling then the regular scripted stuff you see on TV. Backyard Wrestling is real, and since this looks like BYW, I`m going to give it the benefit of the doubt. And for_serious, the guy who got brutalized was probably dazed from something that occurred before the clip starts.

Wrestling is not fake, is it scripted? yes. Fake, No! Some moves are fake but moves are learned so that they don`t hurt. How can you fake a fall off of a ladder, or throwing someone off of a steel cage through a table?

I DO - even if that was real, which I very much doubt, wrestling is still the most ungenuine thing ever - and somewhat homoerotic, which is why I get suspicious of people who put pictures of wrestlers on their bedroom walls.

The damage a weed whacker can do varries on 3 main things; the blades themselves (yes theyre plastic, but how sturdy/thick/long/etc), the speed and the torque. The cuts look realistic, but you can never tell on this video quality. If you think they look fake then look up what a real whip can do to human flesh. Also keep in mind the picture was probably taken within 2-5 minutes after the event.

If you look closely at the photo, you can see big cuts and small cuts. The big ones are from the initial impact, the small ones are after it had already slowed down. It`s also possible that the blades on the weed whacker broke partly off at the initial impact, most weed whacker blades are cheap and are made to shatter when hitting solid objects.
