I loved this idea when I heard about it a couple years ago. I must get at least 3-4 credit card invites in my mail each day so I stuff them with expired coupons, other credit card company`s junk, etc. I never put my name & return address on the envelope for fear of getting in trouble. But I would love to fill a box full of junk I`ve been wanting to get rid of. I wish everybody would do this.

I`ve been at this sort of thing for years, just not a big package. I always send them back good stuff, like "buy one get one free" coupons or "You may already be a winner!". At the very least, someone in their employ has to take the time to open the envelope and see if it is a reply to their offer. With the box, it just gets tossed. With my way, you get to waste some of their time too, and time for a company is money.

Why would Homeland Security care if you send junk to someone? That`s stupid.

Wowza...now I plan to go to the Library, dig through old magazines, and pull out a bunch of those little card thingers and slowly send larger and larger packages...yes... Except that I hate the librarians so I`ll prolly just sit by my mailbox and patiently wait for junkmail.

I`m telling you people, you will get into HUGE trouble with the US Government if you try this. It is not funny and not worth it. This guy is either lying or putting on a hoax. I`ve been through it and it almost ruined me.

Oh my word, how rude. I was simply digging at a British stereotype. I don`t know how you can be insulted by that. I mean come on, just chill winston.

Lol... i can see it now... The transmission is in Kansas and the hood is in California...

This is the equivalent of spreading someone`s remains over the entire country. Show your old car you care!

Now I know what to do with all that clutter in the basement. Nowadays it costs so much to dispose of stuff. But if you chop it up enough you could even get rid of an old car this way.

This is perfect, and yes I will do it. Homeland Security can`t track you if you leave it anonymous. Don`t put a return address, don`t put in anything that has your name or contact info on it. Unless they check for prints and they have yours on record, they won`t find you. I think they have better things to do than worry about stupid packages like this anyway.

"This idea was already thought of by Maddox about five years ago..."

Actually this is one of the only ways to get off spam mail lists. Maddox may have first documented it but I have known this stuff for years. Although sending them crap is nice little twist.

Ive done this before. I havent sent a big box but whenever I get junk mail, I usually find some ads to send back to them. The more we do it, the more the post office will be happy about mail being sent and the less postage stamp prices will go up.

Why did they put something in the Patriot Act about this? lol

This isn`t legal in the USA, i researched it. You could potentially get into big trouble with the new Patriot Act laws in place. Think twice before following this hoaxster`s advice, unless you want an unsolicited visit from Homeland Security.
