-it`s WW2
-it`s the small ball behind the plane
-it`s a natural phenomenon
-Dave Grohl also used the name
Google and wikipedia should be able to help you from here on.

I`m stuck on Q21 too. I even used some pieces of paper, but I have absolutely no idea.

Male 588
Congratulation. Finally you are able to translate this rubbish into some text that makes sense. if I were mean I would make the text longer and longer so it would take even longer to translate it you are lucky that I am not. the solution is: 1/1 5/3 9/2 11/3 33/4 39/2.

This is what i got, when i translated text. Still trying to do something with it.

0
Reply
Female 61
So do I have to put the fractions in base 8? And once I do that how the heck to i find the words? or am i going to use base sixteens?
0
Reply
Female 61
well see i translated the whole thing and it said the solution is...but i cant figure out what to do with the solution i`ve got
0
Reply
Male 9
Nope. The only thing you need to pull from Lehrer is the means of decoding the text.

To clarify my previous hint: It`s a process. First you find the word, then, once you`ve found the word...

0
Reply
Female 61
Does it have anything to do with tom lehrer?
0
Reply
Female 61
hmm, ok, thanks, lets see, i need to figure out what XXX is lol, thats my first mission
0
Reply
Male 9
Lemme put it a different way: First you count to find the word, then you count XXX to find...

It`s also important to note that the correct way to read the final line is:

1/1 5/3 9/2 11/3 33/4 39/2

Those spaces are present. Those numbers are not mushed together

0
Reply
Female 61
ah! My brain hurts, that hint made no sense to me, counting something else...hmm

Male 9
Coolthing97: You are literally *HALF* right when you say that the numbers count out words. Now... what could the *other* half of the numbers mean?

maybe all those numbers mean the number of the word to use. then maybe all those words that u get from the numbers will make out a sentence for the answer.

haha ok, well did you get the rgb codes? well you go to that website that I listed and you enter the number(it gives you three, but they`re all the same, so you only enter the number once) so you are going to put the number for each stripe one after the other and then hit decode or whatever and it will tell you the word

That might be a good idea.
In the song, after he sings "Now actually, that is not the answer that I had in mind, but don`t panic", he redoes his calculation in base 8. Maybe convert the fractions (fife-thirds, nine halves, eleven-thirds etc) or the numbers (one, fifteen, thirty-nine, etc) to base 8? Convert all the added up fractions to base 8? We`ll see...
0
Reply
Female 61
do the numbers or fractions maybe have something to do with base8?
0
Reply
Female 61
ya, i wasthinkin maybe it was like the first letter then the fifteenth, and then the 39th but i dont think thats right
0
Reply
Male 47
Or, put in fractions:
1/1 5/3 9/2 11/3 33/4 39/2
I just can`t find any sense in these. I guess it`s something with the Lehrer Song, as the page title also is a quote from that song. The connection between those numbers and the lyrics are lost on me though.

well, i could give you the answer but that would be cheating. To find the anser you copy the image and paste it in paint, then you use the color picker and click on the first stripe and then go to colors and then customize colors, then it will give you an rgb(or red green blue) code, then you write that down and repeat for each stripe, once you get the numbers you find an ascii table and then translate the numbers to letters

See pg. 3 for a hint for #7. That should give you enough clues to Google for the answer if nothing else.

Hint for #10: Look at the title of the page. Google it. What you find will give you a hint about what the numbers are. You`ll want to consider the name of the jpg file, too.

Stupid Clown. Level 7 isn`t a "click the right place" level (you can find out by looking at the source code). It`s probably a certain clown that you have to find the name of, but after looking through pictures of creepy famous clowns and not finding this guy, I give up. This game is way too vague to be any fun.

Lvl 7 is a screen shot from a Stephen King movie. You want the title of the movie.

Lvl 8 is a "what doesn`t belong" solution.

Everybody look. Every level said /fnord/ somewhere in the html code. Level five says /warmup/ instead of /fnord/. If you change it /warmup/ to /fnord/, then that is the html code for the title page. It means something. The source doesn`t tell anything so I don`t know.
